without tags, I can't tell if this is a one-off intermission or still part of the story. I'm hoping part of the story, because Tarot being involved is definitely a good sign

I really don't think Tarot would try and kill or wish Keene dead just because he's got a bit of mana left over from Pete, then again she did willingly try and fight Bailey to the death just because she was the opposing avatar, but that's at least a more solid and understandable reason.

Tarot has pretty much zero motive to be an enemy to Keene, or a friend for that matter, really never even met the guy to my knowledge.

I would even go so far and say if the attempted murder on Keene has ANYTHING to do with the game, Tarot would be the first one to help him.

Wow.... do you realize its been almost a full year since weave seen peanut?

I really am glad we finally are having a one off or even just getting away from the fox line... it went on so long... Something seems strange about peanut. I don't think its the art-style though, i think many its just that we have never seen him do those particular expressions before? his jowls just seem so strangely large and pointy in the pics on the right.... yet they look normal on the ones to the left.....

Hmmmmmm.... I'm going to chalk it up to strange angle and expression since both of those are new for peanut.

Yeah, would be good have an intermission of Tarot and Sabrina, they could surely help about what's going wrong with Sasha.

I would figure there would be a "To be continued" on the last page if that was true. Also, looks like Tarot is gunning for the door. Though i'm not sure if she can still do that gag anymore with her powers being almost gone. *shrugs*

Sometimes things come full circle in comic strips and all narrative fiction. I wouldn't rule out anything in a work of fiction until the last strip.

Just popping in to say that Tarot's potential involvement leads me to believe that a loose plot thread I've been waiting for ages to show up might finally be poking it's furry little head up to check for winter. A plot thread that mostly has to do with THIS comic.

Anyway, the past few pages have been making me think that Sarah might have been made an avatar. She's been pushing the borderline for what could be considered "in character" for her. Oh she is certainly smarter than she acts, flirtatious, and all kinds of contrary I wouldn't even know where to begin. But from the moment she expressed knowledge of how to properly disable a motor moped I knew something was up.

Now, Tarot won't be able to just up an excise a demigod. She's no longer a player character in the game, so can try if she wants too... but she also no longer has the power. Thing is, as a former avatar of a less than agreeable partnership, she is in the position to advice Sarah on exactly what her rights are in this relationship. Mind you, there's a [made up statstic] chance that Sarah will just say "What makes you think I'm not completely OK with what he/she is doing?" In which case... back to square one.

Oh... and what do people think the odds of Mungo being an avatar as well? He did just Tom and Jerry himself through a fence, after all.

Well, you're not entirely wrong on the "convenience" aspect of Tarot coming into Peanut's life.
