What would I do in case of an accident ? ... I would panic. Or not panic enough.
Either answer is wrong

I do believe this is the first time we've ever seen these two talk.

Just hire them King. What harm could they do?

King needs to let it go, let it go and be cool with the cat and doggo

He’s entertained kids before
(but please don’t ask him when)
and it looks, for all the world,
like Peanut wants to do it again.
King’s not sure he can trust him,
this mad dog he hardly knows,
and now, as he talks to him,
he’ll find his fear only grows.
Let Grape handle the talk, ‘Nut,
let the sane one argue the score.
Whatever fears you engender,
she radiates competence for sure.

Maybe someone should tell King how Peanut came along with the wolfpups, maybe that would help.
I'm just unsure about the last panel: Is Peanut just...well...Peanut or is he trolling King? I kinda hope the second

Peanut is such a silly doggy! He should listen to Grape on this one she is far better at this kind of thing.
Re: 2017/02/17 - Talking In Front Of A Blank Wall
Peanut, Grape, Fox and King... The 4 main characters together in the same scene
But what does Peanut mean by "Hope Grape doesn't find out"?

Clearly they are the most qualified people for the job. It's not going to get any better King.
He doesn't want that to happen again.
He probably made mistakes before, and then got scolded by Grape.Soerix wrote:But what does Peanut mean by "Hope Grape doesn't find out"?

Having a 'little accident' usually refers to accidental widdling on the floor. Peanut infers he's not quite 'accident-free'.HellishK9 wrote:Clearly they are the most qualified people for the job. It's not going to get any better King.

More the cotton candy of the Earth. Or is that Sasha? Um, how about ice creams, in the waffle cone with chocolate and crushed nuts on top. Yeah.D-Rock wrote:You're the salt of the Earth, Peanut.

Oh come on, what's the worst that could happen? Nothing could possibly go wrong. This will be a cakewalk. This can't possibly fail. Everything will be fine.Iceheart wrote:Just hire them King. What's the worse that could happ.... you know what. I'm not gonna tempt fate.

Most important thing I've learned from D&D?
No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.

They spoke to each other a bit in 'Pageantate!' and in Heaven's Not Enough (though Peanut didn't know it was King in the latter part), but this is the first time they've spoken to each other outside of Imaginate with King being, well, King.silver16 wrote:I do believe this is the first time we've ever seen these two talk.
What do you get when you cram a shapeshifter, a dog-dragon, two wolves, a human, a robot, a bear, and a fox into one vessel? (They/Them pronouns)

King, just hire them. They're the two most normal and least dangerous animals in all of Babylon Gardens. No police responsibilities, no wolf customs, no strength-so-high-it's-like-they-live-in-a-world-of-cardboard, no millionaire eccentricities, no supernatural abilities, no knack for puns and chaos, no innate self-centeredness and massive ego - just the simplicity and normalcy of modern housepets...who like playing video games and imaginate. Plus, Fox trusts them, and you trust Fox, and Peanut does have some prior pup-sitting experience (or cub-sitting, technically, I guess), so there's that.
You're really not going to get any better than them if everyone else is considered to be too dangerous for your standards.

Re: 2017/02/17 - Talking In Front Of A Blank Wall
Eheh, Peanut is always the same puppy since the beginning! King doesn't mean that kind of catch, Peanut. Come on, King, you're being too much anxious, I bet they'll do a very good work. Peanut said to be prepared, but I can't remember when he did that already in past. Eheh, that's typical of Peanut, hide every bad thing from Grape. And, speaking of Grape, it's better if she is who does the speaking part, indeed. The ending is going to be so curious.

Ah you're right. I'd forgotten King was in Imaginate,OrWasIt.EXE wrote:They spoke to each other a bit in 'Pageantate!' and in Heaven's Not Enough (though Peanut didn't know it was King in the latter part), but this is the first time they've spoken to each other outside of Imaginate with King being, well, King.silver16 wrote:I do believe this is the first time we've ever seen these two talk.

Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.
Re: 2017/02/17 - Talking In Front Of A Blank Wall
I would have liked to see more interaction between Peanut, Grabe and King in the past.
