If they did end up losing a pup they would not be the only ones facing her wrath. She would hunt down Bino afterward and punch him in the face too. And someone, probably Fox, would say that he somehow had that coming to him.

(Remembering how Bailey's wrath turned Bino's face inside-out) Yeah, Grape, I'd say that a 1% chance is too much. You need to bring that down to a safe 0%. I'd go with a combination of the previous suggestions: Call Fox, and ask for the pup's names. It'll give a headcount without any suspicion.

It's how you said, Grape, the pups are only three and there's no evidence of a fourth (it was just a joke that King should remember forever ). But, Peanut...
