Title Text: but we did the POSE

Don't get so cocky, Res, only an idiot loses to the first boss.
Now if you'll excuse me, I need to delete some save files for...space.
Faith doesn't change circumstances. Faith changes me.

That's awesome!
Res' collar probably popped off when he turned. Unfortunately Grape wasn't there to see it.

Welp, Res is gonna need a new collar.
Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.

So not only is Res a tank. He's a DPS tank. Which would be more relaible in small group raid like this. Larger groups would require damage sponge tanks but DPS tanks are important.

Dropping down the Rabbit hole;
Ninja cats are on the scene!
Moving fast and stealthy, silent and sift,
they’re the best they’ve ever been!
Down they come to save their friend
from the monster’s mighty blow.
They’re primed and ready, fit nd steady
and going to lay down the... oh.
Rez reclines without his hat
on the downed purple creature
Happy and smooth, nothing to prove,
declaring himself ‘happy to meetcha’.

I like that Sonic reference in the first panel. I was confused at first when the purple ball had a black tail. Max wears those purple pants pretty well.

Also, with each appearance of Res in this comic I just love him more and more like oh my gosh this last panel is just aaghh-

I think everyone missed it, but I think Res is already in Weretiger Mode. He looks more Buff now, and his collar disappearing is obvious.

Common MAE misspelling of cavalry. It's how Americans pronounce cavalry. We put the "l" on the first syllable instead of the second.

Well, this pretty much reveals they have to actually go Beyond the Entrance to actually have their attire activate. This actually makes me a bit Hyped for Peanut's reveal... And Hope that he's Not 'Spot the OP'd Hero Who Suddenly has Healing Powers'.

Once was enough. I hope his Brain actually has a Good Healing Class in Mind that's not an OP'd Super Hero. Seriously, Superman is Weak to Magic as well as Kryptonite. Spot seems to be a fusion of DC Captain Marvel and Superman fused with a Dog. That's crazy OP'd, since they'd need that stupid grey rock to actually knock him down, due to lacking the Magic Vulnerability.

For a WereTiger, Res' new form is pretty subtle. I was expecting him to be a bit... Bigger and maybe Buffer than that.

Calvary (literally "place of the skull) is the hill on which Jesus was crucified. By extension "a calvary" means "any experience involving great suffering" (in quotes because it's from Collins English Dictionary)

Meh, just a typical were-tiger-vs-people-eater knock-down drag-out extravaganza. I'm sure you've seen one before.

So. Anyway. Grape doesn't get eaten after all. Good job. And Res does look like like a tabby Hunk-Ptah.

Calvary, also Gagulta (Aramaic: ܓܓܘܠܬܐ‎‎), was, according to the Gospels, a site immediately outside Jerusalem's walls where Jesus was said to have been crucified.[1] Golgotha(s) (Greek: Γολγοθᾶς) is the Greek transcription in the New Testament of the Aramaic term Gagultâ. The Bible translates the term to mean place of [the] skull, which in Greek is Κρανίου Τόπος (Kraníou Tópos), and in Latin is Calvariæ Locus, from which the English word Calvary is derived.
Also a common typo for "cavalry" in the US because of heavy baptist/protestant influence in the South.

I am thinking the more likely reason for the altered spelling is because of the american southern accent causing it to sound phonetically like the former. So when people think to sound out a word and have that accent.

I thought it was one of those regional variant things, like Americans dropping "U"s from a lot of words or Canadians often using the French spelling of a word.

Wow! Ninja versions of Max and Grape look so cool! :D Eheh, you arrived too much late, though. :P I knew Res' were-tiger powers helped him to defeat the monster. :) A speech of Peanut was enough. :P Yeah, Res looks more buff, and not only... Put your hands ahead Grape's eyes, Max! :? Finally, yes, you two did the pose, but Res is posing too. ;)
