I feel like that is something they should get rid of

Mr Steward’s is extra lucky here
that Duke’s the dimmest of the gang,
or he may have detected something’s up
by the nature of the Humans’ prang.
The enemy is realising unity is dumb
and it may have been better to remain
a real power under the Ferret’s thumb.
But it’s a position he can regain.
No-one knows of his real actions;
no-one knows just what he wants
and, most important of all, perhaps,
no-one knows he’s getting Brown pants.

Yeh, my thought, I wouldn't want to be anywhere near her when that hits.Xane wrote:One wonders how Sofia's still standing at this point...

the fact that she ate it rather than just touched it would normally make the effects a hundred times worse, so she should have actually been the first of the three to show symptoms, unless there's a species specific immunity at play here.Argent wrote:Yeh, my thought, I wouldn't want to be anywhere near her when that hits.Xane wrote:One wonders how Sofia's still standing at this point...
Most important thing I've learned from D&D?
No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.

Oh, I never wondered of where Steward went in the meanwhile, but that wasn't a so important detail. Brr, the itching terror ivy did its bad effects on his skin. Ahah, well said, Duke! Steward realized to have been what he said... So, that stage is a consequence of the contact with that plant? Wow.
Re: 2017/10/02 - Idiot Closet
Endangered species. They can't legally remove it. I mean, I'm sure the ferrets could figure out a loophole, but it's likely not a concern for them, and they are marked, Steward and Thomas just didn't initially see them.Iceheart wrote:I feel like that is something they should get rid of

I honestly didn't know that. I only recall touching a very specific type of plant where my grandmother used to live, stung like the devil, but I don't recall it having this side effect.Cesco wrote:So, that stage is a consequence of the contact with that plant? Wow.

i still think there's a species-specific immunity at play here. also fur wouldn't protect her after she ate it.

Actually, it's because Keene turned the whole place into a 'State Park' to avoid Fines, and that meant the Itching Terror Ivy had to be there to at least interest people... Or keep the Public away from the Private areas important to the Ferrets. Whichever it was, the Plant was slapped there to Cut corners on both Taxes and Fines.Iceheart wrote:I feel like that is something they should get rid of...

Honestly, I'm liking the Ferrets less and less with how they keep doing stuff like this, when we also know that Keene once bought a Missile Silo and filled it to the brim with Pudding. Can't remember the Strip he mentioned it though, but the Ferrets haven't exactly been frugal with their money to at pity them for the Fines and Taxes they receive.
Even worst when an early strip has one of the Ferrets go against the Word of his Dad and show off a Map that Clearly said Do Not Display. (That Means YOU, Simon.) written on it:
And Does it anyway:
Or the time that Keene tried to Force a Royal Marriage on Sabrina, who didn't want to marry said person, to fuel his own agenda. I'm sure we all know that Arc by now. For those who don't, it's called Jungle Fever, and the page I'm showing has Sabrina show she doesn't have a Choice or a Say... And there's no 'Fine Difference' as he says:
And he STILL gets away with it in the end anyway:
The only time they didn't, was Post Celestial Games, when it was revealed that the Demigods basically fried the Cameras so they got Three Hours worth of Static, while Keene had to deal with the Gryphon Golems harassing him.
And even then, Keene's got a LOT of people who want him DEAD. Seriously, if it would take a month to give all the names, I feel it's more than Heads of many a Corporation who do... And some of those people, I suspect are even closer to home, such as the Pets who live nearby... And most who may have good reasons to hate him, like a certain Black Mystic Tabby. Sure, it was that Fat PETA Bloke, but the Fact that Keene would need a Month to point out how many want him dead, kinda gives a massive point as to how bad he is.
Well intentioned Extremist he may be, but the fact that his Circle of 'Friends' is basically his family, Jeeves, the Wolves and Breel, the former being Family, the second being Loyal to Henry Milton's Last Will, and the Latter having Pledged their Loyalty as thanks and Breel being a Celestial who is noted as very friendly in general... And even then, those who are NOT Breel actually have to Worry about being 'Fired' by Keene.
Seriously, the Panel I've already shown, Points out that ROCK, a Family member, actually fears being Fired by Keene, his own Brother, for an Action well beyond his Control!
On the next... Wire in the Blood...
