Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.

Some of the orcs appear to be wielding the Uruk Hai spiked broadswords from the LOTR movies.

Going down the line,
solving all the puzzles.
Having a good time;
look at al their muzzles.
First they battle this,
then they encounter that
and, halfway through,
have a croissant and a chat.
Nothing like a montage
to speed up the scene
as the guys raid the place;
they’re the best I’ve ever seen!

What about the Southern Gothic room with the voodoo vampires and banjo music? Or did they do that already?

Where do you think the Cakes and Tea in B-89 came from? Kinda interesting that Grape's giving Tarot a look of deep mistrust.Iceheart wrote:You forgot Floor B-52, the Rock Lobster room
Also, I like how Dallas is actually pulling his weight with the translator... And the fact that I was right to say the Temple Adapts to what the players do in there! HAH! So much for Sausage-Powered-Old-Tenno, he can take his Super Strength, 'Invincibility', Flight and 'Body of Atlas' outta here!
Still, with how Spring and Summer are acting with Rufus, I'm starting to dread seeing Fox have the Rug O'Relationship yanked out from under him... Again!

I appreciate the insane amount of work that must have gone into this update. Peanut is adorable here; the foreshortening is really good, especially in that outreached paw. He's never going to want to give that hat back, is he? I liked the Escher homage too.
Nice one, Rick!

Nooo... Now it will take YEARS to go back to Thomas. This anxiety is killing me!

Re: 2017/11/17 - Descent
Not overwhelmed, but I'm "whelmed"!
Didn't Pete ask, "how does that fox keep getting in here?"
How'd the old HERMIT get in there? Maybe it's the backdoor to his cabin.
Why does Maxwell keep running into orcs? Personal magnetism?
Cakes!!! "One side will make you grow taller and the other will make you grow smaller!". (Sorry, still channeling Alice in Wonderland.)
Grape looks quite smashing in evening Ninja garb; very fashionable for four o'clock tea
Dallas has connection in the Temple? Careful, there, Dalmatian guy..... !
Second cuppa coffee time! Regards.
B-102. Sixth Grade Study Hall... Noooooo! It's a trap!!

Re: 2017/11/17 - Descent
Good to see what's happening to the others in the temple. Well, it's happening the impossible. This temple is impressive. Eheh, probably now we know from where that crazy old man really comes. Karishad couldn't miss. Oh, poor Maxwell, keep running! The B-71 floor is great. At least, there's a moment of relax in the B-89 floor.

So, Dallas' universal translator also works on limericks?

actually, it shouldn't. the UT has been shown, repeatedly, to have trouble with overly roundabouts speech patterns. The best example being from the TNG episode "Darmok".TeflonCougar wrote:So, Dallas' universal translator also works on limericks?
Most important thing I've learned from D&D?
No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.

He's probably using it to take down every word that the fellow says and then he's translating it from there. Dallas is quite a smart little cookie, I think.TeflonCougar wrote:So, Dallas' universal translator also works on limericks?

Ha ha! I'm not actually going to talk about the suggested topics. I'd just like to point out how please I was at the proper usage of semicolons. It warmed my heart to see my favourite punctuation used correctly.
Re: 2017/11/17 - Descent
Is it still evening tea if there isn't an archbishop present? Or is that cakes and ale? Nice crockery.
Re: 2017/11/17 - Descent
Already did, and I'm even more worried. Rufus may not intend to, but he's likely going to make Fox's Love Life miserable again... Something I hope I'm wrong about.Macsen wrote:I just noticed that Spring and Rufus are together in B-71.

Well, Summer saw Fox first, didn't she? Do Celestials get jealous?
Re: 2017/11/17 - Descent
Considering they are angels and fox doesn't know who they are, they likely aren't going to be staying with fox as much as we're let on. However, since they are having a godo time with fox and Rufus, i got a feeling they are going to go something awesome for fox and keep rufus company in heaven.

That was anecdote without context. They knew what a wall was, what to fall means, they just had no idea what a Shaka was.Buster wrote:actually, it shouldn't. the UT has been shown, repeatedly, to have trouble with overly roundabouts speech patterns.
