Title Text: he should have sprung for the acid-proof elaborate, well-lit glass display case

He hurts because he loves.
Faith doesn't change circumstances. Faith changes me.

Lick the wall and save the hat,
I wonder why Keene never thought of that?
Is it because he’s Eudoant’s little bear
or because he gave in to despair?
What is the secret of the little Demon?
Should Keene wake or just dream on?
Will he find his beloved Ferret friend?
Is this a nightmare that he can end?
Time’s running out, Tarot’s at work.
No time to rest, no time to shirk
Get Breel, get going and get out…
With the Demon in whom we doubt...

Leave it to Rick to make something so deadly look so cute. <3

(Edit: Also, the alt-text clarifies the gender of Eudoant; so people can stop asking about that now. XD)

Now have the little demon use Lick on Eudoant's face! It'll either be super effective or, at the very least, it'll be funny.

Problem is that Eudoant is Evil-type, or as it’s known by us Americans, Dark-type, so it’s rather ineffective.

So in that case, Keene is going to have his ermine ability put to the test if he hopes to escape that devil’s grasp.

“Anyone got any lye?”
Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.

Wrong test. You need a lye-detector for that, dood. :3c

Little critter must have a great sense of humor - he sure is "acid-tongued". This is funny and ominous at the same time. I'm almost hoping Eudoant wakes up and smacks down the contract (four ears and doesn't hear a thing!).

He does know how to choreograph a story, not to mention weave more plot lines than a Persian rug...

Huh, that's such an acid saliva. :P It has been useful in this case, but for any reason don't let him lick your face in case the little demon will ever think to do it, Keene. I'm really glad of that, too. ;) What a pretty gentle demon, though. :) However, it's weird keep a simple night cap exposed like a museum piece. :D

He probably does. Most webcomic creators do, from what I can gather. Tom Siddell, creator of Gunnerkrigg Court, once joked that he has such a page buffer built up that if he were to just up and die we'd still get about three months worth of pages.

I've seen his streams where he makes the comic. He's only about a week ahead.

Yeah, it can be EXTREMELY hard to keep a proper buffer going with comic pages (I've literally never managed it, personally). Especially when you consider all of the other writing and drawing projects Rick works on, dood. As much as it would be nice to have that comfort zone, there's only so many hours in the day to work on things.

Many of the old twentieth-century cartoonists used to follow the theory of one story going to press, one story in the works, and one on the drawing board. "Funnies" artists, like Walt Kelly of POGO, also kept a collection of one-time strips he could file anytime he want a break. He also had a collection of strips he called the "bunny funnies" which were cute little rabbits telling innocuous jokes, puns, or being silly. Kelly often did political or social commentaries in Pogo that some of his editors thought inappropriate, so he'd give his syndicate the FunBun cartoons as replacements. It was Kelly's way of signaling his readers that "your editor may be an invertebrate!"

Regards.

I just realized that Keene is not Eudoants teddyferret, Eudoant is Keenes matress and pillow.
