Ya can''t regenerate lost mana though. Sure his base health can recover but that mana in his body is the equivalent of body armor from what it seems.
Also keep in mind that it took the forgotten 3 seconds to beat Res before by doing seemingly nothing. Once that mana's gone, the regeneration wont mean anything.
