I hope Breel made arrangements for his leave of absence from his job at the Weasel Massage Parlor before embarking on a quest to save the world. Sure they'd have to be gone a pretty long time to try anyone's patience, but forty to fifty years is a long time and he can't go back now to make arrangements. Well, he could go back, but returning to Earth is the tricky part.

His first appearance is when Keene finds Breel working at the Weasel Massage Parlor. Sure in The Crunchatorium Breel isn't shown to do any of the massaging, but his use of "we" in Food For Thought and the fact he asked a potential customer (Keene) f he was there for the special in The First leads me to believe Breel works at that establishment. Despite being in the infinite realms of paradise, some of the animals still have jobs like the platypus waiter Breel requests the dinner menu from.

Yeh, I know, "working".Champion Wallace wrote:His first appearance is when Keene finds Breel working at the Weasel Massage Parlor.
In Heaven. Where there is no money. And time is subjective. And the whole staff can cut for an all-day lunch just because.
It's not a job, at least not in the sense that he needs to worry about losing it, or being missed, unless that's what he wants. It's more like a hobby, or a place to hang with his weaselly buddies. If there's a customer waiting for a marten massage they'll never notice him taking 40 years to get back from lunch break, because that wouldn't be perfect.

It's Heaven. Someone'll step up. Sorta like in the Worker's Paradise....
