What is King doing there?

At first I thought it was going to be King saving them. That still is possible, but the 'other' possibility is that Gale is going to target King's belongings.

Gale very likely hasn't seen the stuff King brought with him and doesn't know how to use it, but once she sees the kind of food they have she will want more. Whether this is good or bad depends on Gale's personality.
