Is the disappearing power also leftover from when the building was a Sizzler? Ooh, maybe the drawing in white paint wasn't to teleport ghosts, it was to teleport the building it was drawn on (or maybe it's both and the building itself is a ghost). Regardless, now how are they going to use the DROOOOP BOOOOX? Something I always wonder whenever a building disappears and leaves an empty lot is what happened to the building there before? There can't be that many vacant lots around town for spectral buildings to occupy. Even if there was an empty lot, there's always going to be something there, even if it's just litter.

I would assume the store would reappear once they finished the movie so that could put it in the DROOOOP BOOOOX that way they can't chicken out of watching it which would be the smart thing to do considering they have the internet

You know what realized, Grape filling her pockets with candy is totally something Nick Wilde would do. That costume is very appropriate.

I think it’s interesting that Grape was the one who was questioning the safety of the movie but now is the one stuffing her face with questionable candy (Cookie Dough Nudules not Cookie Dough Bites ) and is not the least bit concerned about the fact the store vanished. One could argue she’s become desensitized to weird stuff these last ten years but still something like this is an entirely different can of worms then what’s she used to.

I've been thinking about this Halloween story. There is no way it's going to end in two more strips. If it does then...that would be bad. So now I wonder how much depth is this story going have? It's taken so long just to reach this point of leaving the store. I also wonder if it was supposed to be a short story that ended on halloween but Rick decided to expand on it either originally or came up with a super fantastic plot line and wanted to really tell it. I'm not saying it's going to last four months like the last one but how long is this going to last. I think we all expect there to be a thanksgiving arc following up with the Wolves and Gale but now I'm not sure. The worse part is we won't find out any details about where this is going until next week. After that we should be able to make more educated theory.

Pretty certain this arc just went longer than intended. It looks like your usual Halloween arc. Unless the DVD contains something completely related to Babylon Garden (Heck, I could guess it's possibly the werewolf that lost his tail in the 30's), i'm under the strong impression it's a real DVD with either a horrible or awesome movie in it. Maybe even The Last Unicorn or The Land Before Time. <3

Let me ask this, What do you want to see happen when they watch that movie? The way I see it two things can happen. One it turns into a horror and (let’s be real) comedy situation. Or it’s just one big joke that may or may not have a plot that isn’t horror but something enexpected. Considering the build up the former is most likely the case. The last time Rick did a real Halloween story arc was the non-haunted mansion With Max and Marvin. Okay, do we want that again or should this story at least attempt at some level of horror? Let’s be honest, No, we don’t. So that leads me to this question, What makes a horror movie scary? I just read IGN list of top horror movies of all time and it got me thinking about the concept of horror and how it could be adapted in a tasteful manner in the comic. Do we want Peanut and Grape to be frightened out of their fur while we laugh at their expense or not?

Some people may actually want a mundane-in-comparison arc. We do have fans that prefer the slice-of-life stuff over the supernatural stuff. Let people have their own thoughts and opinions.

I actually can't shake the feeling that this is a short arc, and I'm super hype to see if Rick's gonna somehow wrap this one up in 2-3 strips. I have no clue how he's gonna do that, but I'm feeling all giddy at the prospect for no particular reason
