So someone needs to explain what it is that the K9’s do. I mean clearly they’ve evolved past assisting officers and sniffing. I really think they are technically the “animal” police and deal with any animal related crimes and/or criminal animals. If they have there own budget and department that they handle personally then clearly they are more recognized as true officers. Ralph has his own office and they have they’re own meeting workspace so how much power do they have?

Why is Mungo’s visor different from the others?

F I D O ! It's been nearly 5 years but he finally returns to the comic! Good to see he still has his charm.

Gosh Mungo is so adorable. I know he's probably not that innocent though. He's acting almost as if he's scared to be seen naked. What reason could he possibly have for this?

Meanwhile, Kevin's already stripped down.

Aww, Ralph's not going in. Really, I should be grateful for four K-9s going in at all. I don't think Fido knows yet that Sabrina's in there naked.

Good to see Fido again, has it really been that long? That is a....confident hairstyle (headfur-style?) he's sporting there. It's one step away from a pompadour.

Also is anyone going to ask the obvious question of how Mungo broke the walls?

Mungo lifted a (waterlogged) limousine over his head by the rear axle with one arm without expending apparent effort. Concrete Breeze Blocks (ciderblocks) are designed to withstand vertical stress, but actually crack (relatively) easily to shear forces, and drywall (even commercial grade) wouldn't stand a chance.

He probably just leaned on one too hard

Probably a little of column A, little of column B. Also, I’m just so glad Ralph’s not gonna be the one to end the fan service, he’s the catalyst to get some of the best looking dogs in there. Considering the fact that Rick is oddly good at teasing stuff what with how he handled both Keene and Sabrina, I’m really looking forward to this arc, especially how Fido is gonna react to Sabrina being in there... so anyone want to make some guesses on who is in there? There are a few likely missing ones, who would invite Bino, Terrance is the K9 missing in action, the nerd crew I don’t expect, though Joey and Squeak aren’t that hard to imagine being there

Edit: also, as usual, magic powers used in the temple don’t seem to go away when you exit. Mungo’s googles seem to be the same energy projections that he was able to make while in there. If anyone notices Peanut is a lot better at puzzles in the near future, I’m gonna say Keene was an idiot going for the mana pool and he should have just activated all the superpowers he could while inside the temple

I think I see a seriois flaw in this plan, mainly how many Doberman Pinchers live in Babylon Gardens? The Keystone Kanines may be a little obvious. Perhaps this is why he still isn't Captain Ralph.

Shame we don’t get to see Spo, I think we all considered him an unofficial member of the K-9 unit and I bet he’d enjoy the Sauna... though if either Max or Grape is in there right now, I think we know why he isn’t present

I don’t understand the obsession with Terrance. He showed up only in the Aztec Gold story (and a cameo at Kings wedding) so clearly he’s one of those characters who never was supposed to have a role in the series. Even back then he had almost zero purpose in the story. He came and went like a candle in the wind.

You know what’s interesting about this plot is that it’s the opposite of what would normally happen. Those four are going as guests which means they’re be relaxing and enjoying themselves while Ralph, I guess will be outside freezing his tail off. You would think it would go like...
Ralph: “okay, you four go find Keene but be discrete. No getting sidetracked by the amenities. We’re on duty.”
Fido: “What are you going to do?”
Ralph: “I’ll be doing my own investigating and go interview the driver.”
30 min later they find Ralph soaking in one of the bathes with a towel over his eyes getting four sets of dirty looks from the others.

Considering their history it might be more interesting to see Spo 'reunite' on panel with Sabrina.

Bringing it up kinda reminds Rick of the downside of when he adds a character, there’s a risk people will notice when they never appear again... Plus dog breeds are almost like separate animals, and I think everyone has a favorite type they want to appear. I won’t pretend that’s not why I want to see Tarmac and Gambit again, might be something similar with Terrance.

I just mentioned this in a reply a bit earlier on, I think it's that force field thing he could do in the temple. Like Zac with his glow in the dark foot, and Res with his new buff looking form, it seems Mungo got to keep his magical superpowers on top of the superpower he already had.

If you look closely you can see that Mungo's glasses/goggles have the same strap going around his head, that the others have.

He's not important to this adventure so let's all go with Terrance being busted back at the station for some "Super Troopers" style antics involving a school bus and a liter of cola...which is out of character for him but is all the reason more why Sgt. Ralph got on him about it.

Terrance was the lesion for forensics so I doubt he was ever a field officer. He most likely works the lab or support.
