To be fair, that would be like not liking someone just because they're descended from Genghis Khan (which apparently a full 1% of the human population is). It's not like Mungo and Res are Satau and Ptah reincarnated. Character is not genetic.

or of bloodline descent but, yeah, the links between him and Satau as well as (not so heavily) Res and Ptah have received more than a little debate here. Kinda expected something might emerge between Mungo and Res in the last Temple Crashers but no hints dropped strong enough to rustle the leaves...

The most we got is that interaction showing Mungo unknowingly telling Res, the secret author, how big of a fan of Pridelands he is, which also subtly tells us unlike Satau he’s probably pretty fond of cats since most of the cat-haters can’t admit they liked the book. I really hope they get more interactions next time Res is in town. If they become friends, who knows, maybe we’ll have another time traveling arc and those two can meet Satau and Ptah.

Yeaah, I could see Satau and Res becoming chums. They're both sensitive souls, well read, modest, gentle, friendly but a little guarded in who they open up with. I'm guessing Mungo may also have an artistic side that has yet to be revealed. Can't quite see Mongo pal around with the others on the force, might seem unprofessional, but I could be wrong. I could see him supporting a cat on the force.

Wonder if Fox is getting "counseling" from the Big Guy?

I think the blush comes more from the fact that Sasha is...well...naked for their standards and some people do react like that regardless of how they think of the other person

One of the best things about Mungo is that he does his own thing no matter what. He’s not the type to fall into a stereotypical category and is friendly to everyone. He’s a precious soul.

Not sure if you said Satau by mistake or not, but you know something... the Pridelands, from what little we see of it, kinda feels similar in some ways to Satau and Ptah’s homeland... okay it’s a stretch saying what I’m starting to suggest, especially when we mostly saw fanfic Pridelands and everything else is just snippets... man I wish we had comics of Pridelands, I’d read it to my cat and see if the rumors are true about them loving it

This is actually closer to Rick's normal style than Housepets! usually is.
