This is definitely one of those classic charming Housepets style endings. As well as a really long ending. This trip is HUGE!

These guys really aren't that good at their jobs- I mean, back in Case of the Aztec Gold they all seemed pretty on task and well prepared. It was goofy, but it was also productive. This was mostly just goofy and Mungo cleaned it all up for them.

Fox is a blushing mess right now- and Mungo and Fox footsies is all I could have asked for. This is shaping up to be a good Christmas

Gosh, I want to make that Fido expression my icon so badly but I can't seem to make it small enough. Ugh.

I’ll be honest, Peanut was the best part. I can totally imagine him all monotone and slowly reacting. I just want to hold him and tell him everything is going to be okay.

I just remembered that I was going to mention that Fox needed some pet therapy during the last strip. It looks like he got it but now is going to need regular therapy to go with it.

To say the least this has been one of the strangest chapters in years. At least Fox got closure and the Sasha/Kevin relationship got developed so its a win.

With the dog's expression in the beat panel, it looks like none of them are dry enough to leave or all of them are but they're lying to get more spa time, but I don't see how either of those are true. Kevin had his burning cannonball and Mungo got hit by a pain wave, but Fox hasn't gotten wet yet. Can someone explain how Mungo's robe was doing anything to conceal his neck?

So... Mungo and Fox shippers, should we read a bit too much into Fox blushing at Mungo stripping down, or it not worth it? I am gonna read into Mungo playing footsies with Fox though, that game is almost always for flirting... and honestly, won’t be surprised if Mungo is interested in Fox in that way, even if I don’t know if Rick has hinted at it up till now

I thought about that too (and considering Fox's blush in that panel), but then I simply thought that dogs licking each other as a sign of affection is common among dogs, male or female.

I didn’t even realize this was teasing when I first read that. Guess that’s a good thing though, I think we all prefer this to just a girl randomly being placed in... assuming Fox is blushing for the reason that seems to be suggested, unlike Sasha, Mungo seems to know exactly what he’s doing. Also, was Mungo’s last line in that comic the thing that pretty much solidified to people he was Satau’s descendant?

Well maybe it wasn't directly teasing, but now in hindsight it kinda looks like it.
Maybe Mungo is just pulling Fox's leg or is like that to all of his friends.

Yeah I think he is supposed to be Satau's descendant. At least they look very similiar.

well knowing Risk, whoever the love interest is she wouldn't have been random, the potential love interest would probably get an introductory arc that focuses largely on those two much like Tarot and Bailey did, (Or mungo now that i think about it... huh...) or be an existing character who starts showing up increasingly often a month or two ahead of time like max.

One of the things i'm wary about is the wording: "I thought you were shy!" "Around lots of people, but it's just you, Right?"

Mungo is joining Fox because he's close to him in the force. No doubt though the two are going to start something :3
