I think his propensity for drifting towards older women at least when it was with Sabrina was because of the time he spent with the barn cats.

My opinion: He clearly dated Sabrina because she was one of the few female cats in the comic at the time before Grape was revealed to be female and Sabrina was actually a pretty good choice at the time. =P

You know I still want Res to come back and not just because I’m on TeamRes but because now that Pridelands is finished he’s going to need a new series to write and he could literally just jott down the crazy stuff that happens around the neighborhood and publish it. Well considering Bahamut's attitude when he talked to King. "Would you like to be punished for all the evil you yourself have done, the people you have hurt, the irreversible damage you have caused?" I'm not surprised. But this does bring me back to a question I'm still waiting on an answer for "What on earth did he do before joining PETA?"

We know he worked for ASPCA then got arrested by that's it. Joel's life story is essentially birth, kidnapped, high school, college, kicked out of his parents house, worked for ASPCA, got arrested, joined PETA, and we know the rest after that.
