Oh come on! Kitsune finally shows up and it’s The End. I wondered if was still there in the spa cause I wanted him to use his powers for Grape and Max’s RPG so we can do the Pridelands thing again.

Well, against all odds they’re still together and still weird but they have accepted it so....progress?

Kitsune is still the best no matter what. But Peanuts expression at the end is something else.

He’s omniscient and omnipresent... so honestly it’s probably hard not to, especially when he’s already such a cheeky fellow and loves to tease. It’s kinda funny how much Tarot butts heads with Kitsune considering how good she is with Kari.

On a note unrelated to what you said, I kinda like what’s being said here. I don’t know if the relationship is gonna get better, but I suppose it’s good they’re talking about it now at least... also who here hopes that this is the start of seeing both the romantic side of Peanut moving forward and the weird/romantic side of Tarot. Neither of them know what they are doing and as much as Tarnut is criticized by me, for some reason I’m excited to see where this goes assuming Rick keeps this development in mind

No one needs your opinion Kitusne! Well mine is ok just not his Ok Tarot is super adorable in this strip. Now I know what I said though most of this arc and while I still don't like Tarot and Peanut as a couple I could see this new Poly dynamic really helping them and with some more healthy development it could be really good. That being said there are is something I feel I need to say here: I would really, really like a flashback arc for when Grape realized she likes Peanut more than what she indicated in Imaginate Too! Heck, it doesn't have to be an arc if Rick feels it just needs to be a one-off or something I would be fine with that as well. Its just something at some point clearly changed between them and we never got to see it.

Anyway, I'm glad the status quo of this open relationship has been preserved, with Tarot learning to improve her romantic relationship

It was nice to have an arc dedicated to that, not to mention seeing more and more kindness from Max toward other people than Grape.

I just hope Max won't be jealous of Peanut in the future

and that in this arc, he learned just as much as Tarot about improving his romantic relationship with Grape.

Well glad to see Tarot is learning, and that her relationship with Peanut didn't collapse. Hopefully we'll see her more being romantic in the future.

On a side note, while I'm glad it didn't happen, I'll admit it appears what I expected to happen, didn't happen. When folks started mentioning the possibility of this whole issue being a 'Just wake up' kind of moment a few strips back, I was wondering if it was gonna be on Tarot, cause unless I'm mistaken I don't think that's happened to her yet.

I find it interesting how Tarot started out weird and bubbly; my guess is that Dragon was manipulating (if not controlling) her at the time, since there was such a major personality shift later on.

...besides showing Peanut getting a little friendly with Tarot, which I just now noticed and is probably why she's blushing. >.>

It's becoming clear Peanut and Tarot are nowhere near that "friendly" with each other as often as Grape and Maxwell have demonstrably been throughout the course of their relationship.

No, it means it's just weird to her to be so romantic or maybe showing affection so openly.
I guess she realised how weird she actually was with Dragon's powers and what she is dealing with.
Most Pets do have the minds of teenagers as far as I saw. Not all of them, but most and Tarot is one of them.

I wouldn't say that Dragon controlled her, but we shouldn't forget that Dragon granted Tarot some mind reader powers and I think that helped Tarot to connect with other people. Sadly it had the downside that Tarot never had the chance to learn how to connect emotionally with others in a normal way. At least that is my theory. Honestly I don't want to know for how long Tarot had to be Dragon's Avatar, it could had been for a short time, it could had been several years.
There is also the possibility of Tarot being choosen as Dragon's Avatar, since she was a small pup.
So I would say being cut off from Dragon after all these years and still dealing with the aftereffects left a mark on Tarot.
Kitsune told her once she is Tarot and no one else, so question Tarot has to deal is, who she is.
That is something a lot can relate to (at least I can). You know trying to find out, who you are and what you're capable off.
This aspect of Tarot may not be emphasized, but I think it makes Tarot to one of the most relateable characters in Housepets.

There were definitely points when Dragon was directly controlling Tarot. You could tell when that happened when her eyes turned green.
