Well then!

While I was already a 'member' of this board once upon a time, it seems that through the passage of time and what could be considered 'gratuitous neglect' on my part has dissolved my previous 'membership'. While I cannot guarantee an end to that neglect overnight, I have at least taken the first step toward a fruitful career as a more responsible, more legitimate, more BETTER Housepets! fan: I have remade my account. :D

While I wasn't around for the kickoff, I have been following Housepets! since before it was presented in Technicolor and I was once a highly active commentator. Life has taken a few twists and turns since then, but I'm back now and am quite glad of it!

As inconstant as my support has been, I believe this comic is a shining example for webcomics the world (wide-web) over, and never has an installment disappointed me, nor failed to bring a smile to my face.

I cannot recall who or what directed me to this comic, but I can certainly tell you (in keeping with the loosely-defined format of this thread) that I have tip-toed along the fringe of Furry for close to a decade, and in that time, have marked the following as being wildly evident:
  • I identify strongest with cats,
  • I thoroughly enjoy Furry art and thoroughly admire Furry artists (our friend Mr. Griffin not the least of them!),
  • I am wont to draw fuzzy, bipedal creatures more than anything,
  • Intelligent, talking animals and fantastical settings fascinate and inspire me.
And that about covers it!

Hoping this meets the criteria for participation
in all your weirdo
Housepets! shenanigans,
-Trefoiler

P.S. Hello and welcome, 'fellow' newbies! Looking forward to seeing the unique spin you'll put on all the aforementioned weirdo shenanigans in which we shall all be participating. Word.
But what I do know,
Is- to us- the world is different,
As we are to the world
...But I guess you would know that.

Welcome aguythatcan, have fun here.
If you write, there's a fanfiction section hiding somewhere in the forums that you maybe want to try out. If you#re searching for an artist, have a look into the Media Median subforum, there's an art tread.

Welcome back (somehow... XD) Tr3foiler. A long and fruitful new career as a good Housepets! fan is waiting for you.

Even though I've begun posting a little on this site for months (registered last year but didn't say much), I don't think I ever properly introduced myself.

Hello, I'm Discostew. You can probably guess what my real name is.

I'm a gamer, having been exposed to games since my childhood with the Atari and NES (though the Atari 2600 I think was the only non-Nintendo device I've owned).

I am also a programmer, know numerous programming languages, dabbled in GBA/DS homebrew, and attempted to make numerous games. All game projects have failed because I failed to grasp the scope and requirements for such tasks, save for one, which is my current project of porting Mega Man 2 to the DSi app, Petit Computer (and possibly to the 3DS when the next version of PTC launches on it).

I am a graduate from California State University of Sacramento with my interesting banana in Computer Science, and currently looking for work in that field. Attempted Japanese during my community college years prior to a university, but unfortunately, I've almost lost everything I learned.

I blame my dad for this, but I'm a fan of Star Trek, regularly watching the generations (other than the original) on Netflix while I do other things like gaming and programming. I don't go to ST conventions though, but oddly enough, I went to a small convention near me for the next thing I'm about to talk about.

I am also a partial brony, who got into MLP:FiM around the latter portion of Season 1. Discord is best pony (and on forums and such related to MLP, I go by Discord[stew]), and favorite of the Mane 6 is AJ. Not surprising that Discord is best pony to me because John de Lancie is his voice actor, who plays Q on ST and Discord was created with Q in mind.

I like jokes, but I don't usually make my own other than in the form of witty remarks. I may like long walks on the beach, but I'd need to take one first to make sure. Call me odd, but I tear up during emotion parts in movies and TV shows, even if I've seen them dozens of times. I'm not supposed to tear up! I'm supposed to be in control! Darn you eyes and brain!

As far as HP is concerned, I believe I began reading the comic about 1.5 years ago, and liked it because of the lighthearted humor it had. Didn't really get into discussions until recently, because I like the idea of King, the human-turned-dog, and Bailey together (which you probably could tell by my avatar at this moment), so when the possibility of them being separated became apparent, I felt like voicing my opinion.

...is this an introduction, or am I reciting my life story? I'm usually a shy person in public who doesn't talk much, but sometimes while on forums, I tend to get carried away because I don't feel as embarrassed.

Hello! Name's SeanWolf, a PA Fur. I tend to go by two fursonas: SeanWolf, a black wolf with a scar down the right eye, is my main one and Koda, my werewolf/vampire/vampire hunter fursona, is my RP one. I run a up and coming internet show on Furstream called Funday Wolf Night (Still working on a intro) where I mainly stream games and talk about what's on my mind.

I like playing video games on Xbox 360 (like Saints Row 3, Kung Fu Panda, Mass Effect trilogy) and Steam (Mainly the older stuff like 7th Guest, Postal 2, and Metal Slug 3, though I will be getting into DayZ soon). I'm listen to alot of rock and metal, which includes bands like Meat Loaf, Sabaton, Def Leppard, Jassi Sidhu, Iron Maiden (Mostly the Blaze Bailey songs) and whatever else I get into (except rap, pop, and most of today's bands). I LOVE movies, mainly the action movies (Shoot 'em Up, Heat, World War Z), Comedies (Oscar, Three Stooges, Grown Ups 1, Hotel Transylvania), Animated Movies (Alpha & Omega, Resident Evil) Weirder Musicals like Shock Treatment, and Classic Horror Films like Bela Lugosi's Dracula and the Spanish version of it.

So yeah, Hi!

Welcome to the forums, new best acquaintances ever of all time.

Welcome, Cormac, and well met indeed.

Welcome SeanWolf, and my, what a plethora of interests you have! I wish you luck with your show, and (gamer to gamer) a strong micro in all your games.

Welcome DiscoStew. Jokes aside, barring your programming skill and the bizarre way you spell 'Luna', I feel we have a great deal in common. Furthermore, I look forward to investigating the possibility that at least one of us was unwittingly cloned early in life. Or we could just conversate a while. It's all good.
