Whose Line is one of the best improv shows ever.
Are there any other improv shows? Or do you mean all improv shows, including live ones? I would disagree there.

well he did say "one of" without specifying how big a group that is.

Whatever happened to Drew Carey's Green Screen and Improv-A-ganza? Those were good shows.
Whose Line is alright, at least that's coming back.

no one watched Green Screen (I'm actually surprised someone else remembers it was a thing) and I think improvaganza was more of a series of specials than an actual series. I think Drew and the others are still doing it in Vegas, just not filming it.

I'm going a little off topic here, but why are there no internet-wide Housepets! memes? Are they that well contained or is Housepets! just not that popular? :|

First, memes are generally dumb. :P

Second, Housepets! isn't super popular. It's definitely got a solid fanbase and it's big enough for a Wikipedia article, but it's a long shot away from the popularity of, say, Penny Arcade. We can help fix that though! :D

"Solid" can't even BEGIN to describe how amazing this fanbase is, Sleet. Not once have I met any of the kinds of fans that give us a bad name. There are no shipping wars, there are no internal flamewars over changes in the source material, there is no "UR RT SUX GO DIE," and the greatest of all things, there are no FLAMERS who go around and tarnish our reputation "For the lulz." This is the single best fandom I've ever had the privilege of joining.

Most smaller communities tend to be 'amazing' because most people know eachother, and I don't think 'trolls' find any incentive in upsetting forums like these because they generally get dealt with swiftly so they won't get the reaction they want. Except for that one time which we shan't mention. xP

I've been here just as long as Tiggy, and I can't even remember that incident. XD That's saying something.

So my school is treating the top 20 seniors to lunch at a Japanese restaurant today! And we're getting ice cream after! I leave in about fifteen minutes. I'm super excited because I've never had Japanese food before.

Congratulations again, Beag. My school only took kids out to eat and other activities if they had violent behavioral problems. They really knew how to motivate kids. Or it happened when we were expecting a visit from the superintendent of schools.

I hope your first experience with Japanese food is a positive one. Personally, I don't like it.

Hey, good going Beagle :D hope you like it, Japanese food is good IMO, but I don't like sushi.

In other good news, it looks like I will pass high school :D I am so happy

Ya know I can't say that I have had "japanese" food before either. I mean the only thing that I have had that has been remotely close to japanese food would be Chinese buffet sushi (I may be wrong on this one but I can't really remember stuff today). I like fish and all but Chinese sushi isn't very appetizing.

"The Lurking Fear". That short story will unnerve you!

All of his short stories are great, you also might want to check out his novellas are good too like "Lurker at the Threshold", "At the Mountains of Madness" and "Herbert West, Re-Animator".

Finished reading The Lurking Fear, it's definitely creepy sometimes, I like the part where he doesn't really describe the monster to full detail for most of the story so to allow you to imagine what the Fear could be.

That was fast! But then again, some of his stories are only a few pages long. I made the mistake of reading that story at night while I was home alone. And, living in the mountains, so dangerously close to the Tennessee border, where creatures like that could easily exist, it creeped me out pretty bad.

Wow. I now missed a Whose Line is it Anyway discussion.

The best ones were the old British ones on Comedy center when Comedy central first started out. Loved watching Drew Carey get a lguh out of the cast. I miss some of the old actors like Steven Frost, but it's nice to know that Collen and Ryan are still around, along with Greg.

Ok, I just thought I'd share a little story from another forum I frequent. You guys MIGHT want to hear this.

So, for about my past 1500 posts on this forum (Bumbleking Forum), I've been using the same avatar. And if you look at the number of posts I usually make on this forum, you can get a pretty good idea of how long I had that avatar for.
The avatar was this: Image
And for the longest time, everybody recognized it as my avatar. I don't remember where I got if from (I think Google Images just after I discovered Housepets) or who made it, but I found it awesome, and so did everybody else.

now, this being a Forum dedicated to the works of Ian Flynn, there is a lot of Sonic the Hedgehog discussion that goes on, mostly because he's the lead writer for the comics. And because of this, we have the privilege of Jon "Dub" Gray, being a part of our fandom. Jon is an artist for the comics who is famous for drawing some CRAZY things and coming up with some utterly glorious ideas.
One of these ideas revolved around an utterly hideous character named Ixis Naugus, and his recent mutations in the sonic comic making him even uglier than ever.
Image
Yeah, not the nicest looking guy is he.
WELL.
Dub decided he was going to change this and the next issue, this comic strip appeared in the back of the book:
Image
We dubbed it "Handsome Naugus", and his image spread like wildfire throughout the forum.
One of the ongoing memes that popped out of it was to use this wonderful looking image:Image as an avatar, and at one point most of the forum had adapted the picture as their avatar.
...
I took this a step further and combined it with my current avatar, and this was the result:

<.<

>.>

Image
Pleasant Dreams.

Guys, that Japanese food was amazing. I had shrimp, salmon, mixed vegetables (zucchini and onion), and dirty rice. It was soooo good! And the milkshake at ColdStone afterwards was pretty great. X3

The only time I've had sushi, it was at a local sub-par Chinese restaurant. I'm open to try it if it would be prepared better/I'd have some spicy sauce options with it.

I've also had squid and that was disgusting. Nope, nope, never again!

On the subject of Lovecraft, yehoshua. I will warn you of this. Lovecraft is an example of someone that is a fantastic artist but just a horrible human being. Other perfect examples being Richard Wagner and Frank Miller. Even though they created important, influential works, they are horrifically racist.
