What's the difference between being a Global mod and a Forum mod?
Besides the obvious location difference, I mean. Do you have more powers as one than another?

Generally, the only difference between forum mods and supers is that supers can moderate all of a site's forums. Some sites I've belonged to have differences in abilities (such as length of bans they can issue). Having said that, it's not really important for any of us to know exactly what tool set is available to each moderator level. Enough to get their jobs done, certainly.

I guess if you see them behaving poorly you can PM Rick? The mods here aren't jerks, so this probably hasn't been an issue.

It's possible, but has never happened here (and I do not foresee it happening, since our moderators generally don't violate the big rules or abuse power or whatever).

Only if you have defeated all the other moderators in hand-to-hand deathmatches in the proper order of seniority based on date and time of promotion. And then everyone would leave the forums because without Rick to make the comic... what's the point?

There are multiple administrators on every other forum I've been to, I don't see why you guys are saying it's impossible

The question refers specifically to replacing Rick, not joining him.

People were acting like if Rick wasn't the administrator of the forums then it couldn't function, and that being the administrator had to mean controlling all of the site.

I have gained two sudden urges. Firstly I want watch the Power Rangers along with anything lead by a main character whose called a Captain something. Secondly I suddenly want to punch a reporter...I guess I should play Mass Effect now...

The voice of Doctor Naferious in Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time would suite the Troll perfectly...but who could do Rick?
