Hey there, folks!
I wish to apologize for my absence of late, but I was sent away to a place with barely any cellphone coverage (blindspot), let alone anything else. For the 2 hours I will be on I will try to reply on as many places as I can. I will be truly back on the 7th of August. Until then, please be patient.

Welcome to the forum Sar ^^ . It's pretty easy (I think

) to join an RP here . You just make a character sheet , then either post it here , or in the OOC thread of the specific RP you would like to join for the GM's consideration . As for what RPs are opening and their settings , you can check the first page of this thread , there will be a list and summary there ^^ .

nah , see , look on the bottom right corner , right under the latest post , you will see a "go to page ........ , just click number 1 and you'll be on the first page ^^

The Steelhaven always welcomes new members. If you can think of a reason for your character to suddenly be on board. Maybe they got picked up at the last station.

Weelcome to the RPs, Sartharina!

Serence's advice is good. To make it a little easier for you, here's a link to the page with all the RPs listed. It also tells you which have room left for players.

If you scroll up from there you'll find the information about creating characters and about the different kinds of characters that you can play, and above that are the extra rules specific to the RP section which I highly recommend reading. Also make sure you've read and understood the forum rules. A link to those is found at the top of every page of the forums.

Once you've done that my advice is be bold, be brave, and have fun! Put you character out there and have them interact with other characters. People can't respond to you character if your character doesn't interact with theirs in some way, whether it be walking up and saying hi, running into them, dropping something as they walk past, anything. Be creative, use your imagination and most of all have fun!

Also remember that we mods are here to help and not just to enforce rules. We're all just regular, friendly forum users who like being here as much as you and who just happen to have a few extra controls we can use to help people and to keep the peace. Any time you need advice or help or if you're concerned about something someone has said or done feel free to send us a PM or use the report button at any time.

So yeah. Jump right in and have fun!

And well, I guess I should put this here sooner then later...
I've been sick for a really long time, and well I'm now going to be at the losing side of this battle for the next month or two. Nothing will change about how I post or how many times I can get on and I'll still be around pretty much every day, so if I make a bad post that's still all me. The only reason I'm putting this here is to let you know that over the next month I might drop out of the forums, so if I am ever unexpectedly gone for more than 3 to 5 days, it pretty much means I'm gone for good. So if you're like 'Where is that person?' and it says I've been gone for more than about 5 days, feel free to remove my characters, take control of them, whatever you need to do to them if I'm gone for more than like 5 days go ahead and do it. I'll be sure and find a way to let you know if for some reason I know for sure I'm going to be gone but I won't really be gone for any reason if I can make it to a computer. Chances are that everything will be fine, just making sure I cover every angle just in case. And to say thanks for letting me into all of the RPs you have, for putting up with me, and sorry for getting involved in all the RPs just to say I might have to drop out so soon.

Not to steal your thunder, Civ, but just so you all know, I've caught the flu-like bug that's going around my school lately. I'm coughing, sore throat, sore body, weak, and tonight I started blowing chunks. I'll try to stay active but if I need to take a day or two to recover then please bear with me.
