we've gone really inactive, so we're giving one last shot at reviving this RP.
If we get a few new players, we can keep it going, but otherwise it'll probably be shut down.

So if you want to RP as an exotic pet ( any of the animals listed here) then submit a character sheet to EA within the next week. This may be your last chance

Hi, all.

Just a couple of rule changes and amendments to bring to your attention. These are geared at helping the GMs improve your experience here and helping you to get the most out of the RPs too.

Firstly, a small amendment. I've put the edited bit in bold.

The GM, or Game Master, has control within their own RP. You’ll know the GM by the fact that they have a “Game Master” tag under their name and because they’ll be the author of the first post in the OOC for their RP. By joining a RP you agree to abide by the GMs decisions and heed GM requests. The GM may alter certain rules to fit their own RP so read the OOC before you join. More information on GMs can be found here.

This amendment simply lets GMs control and run their RPs a bit more smoothly.

Next we have a new rule. It's been brought to the attention of the mods that standards of posting have been slipping dramatically. There are too many people these days posting simply a line of dialogue or simply a short post that is impossible to respond to. This really drags the RP down as one bad post leads to another and that can end up killing the RP. I made that point in the Guide to RP that I wrote. I do recommend you all read it - it won't take you more than five minutes and it may just help you improve your posting. Putting a little more time and effort into your posts can really help. I know many of you are busy and I completely understand that, but any extra effort you can put in will really show in an improvement in your posts and an improvement in the flow of the RP. That's why we've made the following new rule. It's so the GMs can help encourage you to post as best you can and so they can help show you where to improve. So here's the new rule:

GMs are to encourage proper, story- and character-building posts and discourage short/ineffective posts by PMing the user at their discretion. Should repeat PMs fail to discourage the short/ineffective posts the GM has the right to remove the player from their RP.

Finally, we have something for you as players. Occasionally things do go wrong. We understand that. We're also aware that occasionally players may not be a hundred percent happy with the GMs but they might feel uncomfortable about making a public post about it. That's why we've come up with his new idea:

Should there be dissatisfaction with the GM for any reason, players are encouraged to contact the moderators and lodge a complaint. The moderators will review the complaint and if it is deemed valid an anonymous player vote will be conducted via PM to determine the continued GMship of the RP in question. Each player may request a vote once per GM per roleplay.

We hope you'll take these changes to heart and that they'll improve your experience here.

I must apologize for the lack of frequency and quality in posting for my characters in AG and AC, this forced vacation is driving me up the wall, with the lack of internet and many labour works that I would have to do for my uncle (which I don't mind personally, but they're just tiring for my sedentary body). To the extent that I had pierced my foot on a rusty nail, and had to get an ATT shot for it.

So.... I'll be home on Friday, on which I will finally be able to post with a calm and sound mind, and pick back up my character in RV as well. See you guys then *limps away*
