So a bit of bad news. I broke my wrist in a bike incident so I'll have a bit of trouble posting for a while. I'll try to post if I can but since I only can use one arm it will be hard but I won't let that stop me!

I broke my thumb once. Good thing was I didn't have to wash the dishes for a whole month!

I just wanted to make a friendly reminder that I will be having surgery today. The next three days I won't be able to leave my bed which means posting will not be possible (sorry, my phone doesn't work with the forums). I will try to make a post for Applegate and Steelhaven if and when I can. Sorry for the sudden disappearance.

Just an update from Drake:
He's out of surgery and in pain but he'll be fine in a few days.

Speaking of surgery, my uncle just had a back surgery for his scoliosis. They added a sort of metal cage around his spine to try and keep it straight. It was a success, but painkillers aren't working for him :/ so he has to tough out the pain.

I can sympathize. None of the painkillers they gave me work for my arm. Combine that with the cast blocking any movement that would let me do anything useful, and you've got a recipe for me having a massive rage fit.

I broke my thumb once and had it in a cast for a month so I know how that is, Lego. The worst part was that the day after I broke it my family went camping at the beach for 2 weeks and I had to sit in the sand and watch them swimming.

Drake is doing better today. He can sit up for an hour without it being too painful now. He hopes to be able to post again in the next day or so.

I'm unsure when I'll be able to post next. my parents are spending the weekend at the beach near my school, and I'm unsure if I'll be spending it with them like last year or if we're just meeting up for dinner. If it's the latter I'll be able to post tomorrow night, if the former I might not be able to post until Sunday.

It'd be an interesting concept, but I don't think an RP centered around zombies, gore and killing things would be appropriate for this forum.

Agreed. Maybe somewhere else, but not here. Though it would be cool to shoot a zombie in the face with a crossbow.

Sharing emails for other purposes like keeping in contact is fine but if it's done just to get around the forum rules then it still counts as breaking said rules. Sorry.

How is organizing using the forum to share emails circumventing the rules? I mean I get it if we were going to keep tabs using the pm system, but it'd be for sharing emails. I just don't understand.

No, that's okay. I understand. I always appreciate people seeking clarification rather than making a mistake purely through not understanding.

Sharing your email address or skype details just so that you can use them to do something that is against forum rules is still considered using the forums to break those rules. Sharing emails in and of itself is fine, however, as is sharing skype details. Many of us have done it and it's harmless and a great way to keep in contact when we're away from the forums.
