With quite a while having gone by with no posts, I should probably ask about this. How many people are effectively finished with their characters? How many characters have you each got left that still need to end their day? Are any of them minor enough that they can just cut off what they're doing and implicitly end the day?

Jenny's essentially just got to sit down with the others(!)

Keeva's just spending time with Dan and Predator.

Jaken's on his way to play board games (and, possibly, videogames) with Rika and June. He may fall asleep doing that.

Cherry Seena's just talking with Colorado. After food and the film it's bedtime.

Sana's the only one going with a plot right now. But, with Deske's approval, that could simply cut to "goodnight kiss" after 'fast forwarding' through Burger and, probable, Ice skating with laughs and bruises?

I’m still waiting on one more person before I post, so I’ve decided to ask another question about your characters. Since we’re nearing Halloween both in the game and IRL, what do think your character would wear for All Hallows Eve?
Kolt would either dress up as some character from Concertian media that no one would recognize, or go as Ansem Seeker Of Darkness, possibly with another costume for the forcefield behind him he’s shaped to look like The One Behind.
Lewis would go as a Power Ranger, which one would depend on whatever season he watched most recently.
Liz would wear the uniform of a fictional military/peace keeping organization, something like Xcom, Time Force, or Star Fleet.
I don’t think I need to explain why Quint wouldn’t wear a costume.

Lycan and Eira used to go as themselves since it used to be the one day a year they could walk around as their real selves without drawing too much attention.
Hivemind doesn't really go as anything specific for Halloween. Lots of people on the Beacon don't know the holiday, and would be rather alarmed if the army of hive drones around them suddenly took on monsterous or terminator-like appearances. That said, he has been known to decorate his droids with festive ornaments and stickers, and he might have a few put on simple costumes just to get in a sort of festive spoopy spirit.
Gear has the most options, given he has his Ancient Ambassador (name subject to change) costume that he wears when dealing with patrons as the owner of his resort. Robes and a mask give him a mysterious presence and keep people from being alarmed by his mutilated appearance. If he wanted to be scarier, he could temporarily replace some of his machine parts with other components that weren't designed to look fully humanoid like his preferred parts are. It puts him into the uncanny valley, and acts as a scary "costume" I suppose.

Hannabelle might go as a grim reaper.
Corp doesn't do dress up. (His outfit does cover up a lot of scars for one thing)

It’s going to be a bit funny when the twins come to Liz with this important news about the safe house, and she’s just like ”A. It’s about four years too late to do anything about it, and B. Insignia’s gone anyways.”
Also, this storyline is one of the ones I was most disappointed I wasn’t able to get to before I got burned out of Steelhaven, and I had a LOT. It was really interesting, it gave me a reason to go to Earth and exposit about that, and fit really well with what I had set up in regards to Insignia.

So a little bit of biological background on the species known as "Saints." AKA, Archangel's species.

The race is technically carnivorous, but they actually sustain themselves on radioactive elements. Animals on their planet are just the highest concentration of radiation because this is a shared dependence for all fauna on their planet. They are capable of consuming raw radioactive elements, as well as fuel meant for nuclear reactors. They do not have any fat tissue. Instead, they store energy as nuclear energy in their cells, particularly their muscle, brain, and blood cells. These cells have specialized organelles designed to facilitate radioactive decay and nuclear fission on a microscopic scale, providing absurd amounts of energy that goes directly into their muscles, brains, blood, and other parts of their bodies. Their skins are so dense and impenetrable in order to prevent radiation leakage that they are nearly immune to scars and cuts.

In other words, they have no body fat, have nuclear powered muscles, have flawless skin, and literally look like angels.

They have a way of accidentally making people feel inadequate.

FINALLY. It has been almost two years since I first approached Cyber about my idea for this storyline, and now we finally get to start it. We’ve spent so much time workshopping it, bringing up ideas and tossing out ones that didn’t work, all leading to this moment. As always, I have theme music that I believe fits the scenario.
Miitopia- Ultra Demon Lord (or Darker Lord in English). I chose this one because, much like Ko Sah taking over Kolt, it’s a heroic theme that’s been taken over by a villainous theme.
Transformers Cybertron- Flames of Hades. I chose this theme because of the feeling of evil and power it has. Yah Rin greatly enhance the powers of the people they enhance, so anyone who’s expecting to just fight “Kolt, but evil” is going to be in for quite a surprise.
Dragon Ball Z Abridged- Cell Announces the Cell Games. I chose this one because of the seriousness it conveys. This isn’t going to be your average boss fight for a variety of reasons, not the least of which being that, since Ko Sah can read Kolt’s memories, and Kolt has a habit of reading the files of his teammates, he knows exactly who all your characters are, and what their deal is. Though admittedly, the seriousness of this is kind of undercut by the fact that Kolt is still in his PJs.

As a reminder since I think I only covered this in the actual game when Keeva and Dan went to the museum:

Powers can be separated into two categories: Pseudopowers and true powers.

Pseudopowers are abilities that are completely natural and are typically a trait of a species that they naturally evolved. Pseudopowers do often set members of the species ahead of most others in some way, and they can be counted as powers on paper and are considered powers by many people, but they don't function the same as true powers. Being natural, they are nearly undetectable by things that are looking for powers. There's a limit on how powerful they can get, but they typically require little to no training to learn how to use as they are typically instinctive and are not affected by things like power limiters, nor are they detectable by things looking for powers. This includes other powers. Pseudopowers include The Lycan's transformation ability (because lycans have malleable skeletons they manipulate with muscles), Kol's four arms and cold resistance, Varanian strength and durability, and a Corytophian's speed.

True Powers are abilities that are much more like magic in nature. They are the result of Glitches in the laws of reality, and allow a person to follow a different set of rules tan everyone else. These are powers like telekinesis, telepathy, spellcasting, technopathy, teleportation, clairvoyance, speedster-level super speed, and more. These can be a part of a species' genetics, or only for an individual. True powers tend to be, but are not always, more powerful than pseudopowers because the person using the power doesn't always have to adhere to basic physical laws such as the square-cube law, relativity, conservation of mass, or whatever natural law has been effected by the glitch. Instead, each true power has it's own set of rules that they function by. True powers are affected by power limiters and are treated as powers by things that look for them.

There's a third category, but it's very rare. Aspect powers:

Powers derived from an aspect are typically some of the most powerful of all. Normally these powers are granted to avatars, but can be granted to followers as well. Aspect powers can be inconsistent, as their strength and nature tends to change depending on what the aspect granting the power wants. For example, if Diligitis granted a person powers and they went out to save people from earthquakes and feed the hungry, their power would be as much as it needs to be to get the job done. However, if they start using the power selfishly, they will loose it. Typically aspect powers are attached to some sort of artifact that is either given to a follower, or has been touched or manipulated by the aspect. These include Kolt's tail, Tatiana's shell, possibly Mr. C's cane, and the Warlord's soul gem. Aspect powers can be detected by things designed to detect powers, but they cannot be limited, copied, or manipulated by anyone other than the aspect who granted the power in the first place.

The reason I'm bringing this up is because Saffy's power is a power mimic. It specifically seeks out and copies powers of people she touches, which means that she would only be able to copy "True Powers." Otherwise she'd just be copying unique traits from anyone she touched.

Not going to lie, I kinda though I already made clear that Kolt doesn’t actually need the hand movements to use his forcefields, they just help with visualizing the shape and motions he wants them to do. I couldn’t find it though, so I must not have actually said it.
