You know, I just noticed that Cerberus (unintentionally) made a little funny in the third panel of last strip... You know, since peanuts have shells. Waawaawaawaaaaaa.

Now, back to the serious part.

Alternate Text: Really Holly? You just had to say that...

So it looks like that Pete saved Cerberus. Shame because I wanted to see GK in a jello Pokeball. Oh well!

Pete used Dive Attack! It was Super Effective!
Most important thing I've learned from D&D?
No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.

Congratulations! You caught a(n) OTHER DARYL! Would you like to give it a nickname?
My characters!
I got too many colors to remember. I'll put them here to see. Aren't they nice? Yep! Absolutely!

I'm sure that this time Homer would have a contingency plan if their avatar failed.

Or do they? *Ominous music, cut by record scratch.*
Yeah, yeah we'll see about that in time.

Hmm, let's nickname him Darth Snorlax... Yeah I got nothing. If it were Kitsune, I would have nicknamed him Daddy's Lil Kit... or Kit Kat! GK: "Oh give me a break!" OD: "Exactly, now sing it for my amusement!"

So then that means that Daryl probably would be able to break free if it is still him because he likes food. So much. In theory, he could escape ANY dessert trap by eating it.

He'd have to somehow eat through the helmet if he wanted to do that. :P
Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.

The helmet has slivers in it so he could just inhale through the slivers.

Sorry for the short delay. But, you know... things. Don't you hate things... and stuff?
Well, I'm actually debating on one minor yet crucial detail at the end of this arch and so will leave it up to the readers to (indirectly) help me decide... You come across two doors: one red and one blue. Which one do you open?

Alternate Text: I would have made it sooner, but I couldn't find Mt Ever Roast anywhere on the map.

Wow, almost a year has passed since I started this. How time flies.

Alternate Text: The Bahamut could then say "Ear muffs? Just use a pair of banana peels and you'll be fine." But he's above that.

Hmm, dunno if lawyers are allowed in heavenly court. I mean, this is HEAVEN, right?

Also: rule number one, good guys. Never, never, never, NEVER leave the bad guyst at a short distance from ALL their evil gadgetry! Sheesh!

What are you implying about lawyers? Yeah, probably not. And yes, I may have committed a cinema sin back there with the proximity of Homer's goodies... Then again, the Bahamut is there and they are in Heaven, so what could possibly go wrong?

Now, back to the real action.

Alternate Text: It'll transition into a silent animated film, with Sasha playing an old piano in the background.

OK, got it.
A game, and despite Homer being physically one being, he is THREE entities fused into one.
Which means, THREE avatars.
One violent and greedy (Daryl, summoned by the lion)
One fueled by genius (Kevin, the goof mistaken for dumb, who wants to prove he's smart instead, summoned by the snake)
The third, the tactician (??, summoned by the goat)

Ouch.

Based on the picture that he drew a few weeks ago, I wanna say that Grape may be the third one if he does go that route.

Well, here it is, the last strip... of this part (and almost of year 1 for this fanfic :D ). But don't worry, I'll be back some day.
And it looks like the blue door is the winner and so that tiny yet crucial detail in part 3 has been decided.

Alternate Text: Dun dun dun.

The story ended for now, but without nothing good got by the sisters for their poor dad. Homer is in jail, the box is sequestered and the evil fat Daryl avatar is trapped, but looks like he found new future victims... :? Good idea let finish the "movie" to Peanut, Karishad. :P It's good see that he learned to draw well without commission Joey. ;) Oh, it's awesome see a new Kevin made of both muscles and brain. :D
