Housepets! Hunger Games

A piece of advice an old friend gave me when it came to surviving video games that I think applies to these imaginate sessions; go in guns blazing, let the god of their choosing sort out the pieces.

So, how about we get Lois, Marion, and probably Gale in on this next round?

For some reason I could see Marion going down rather quickly and Lois and Gale being strong contenders but then again I never thought that a SIDE character would win the first game.

I'd imagine that Cathy could easily take over Tarot's position as being a bloodthirsty murderer in the game.

Pit: Welcome back to the awards ceremony! Sorry for the long commercial break, Tiger was trying to revive his old TV show.
Tiger: No I wasn’t!
Pit: Before the studio explodes again, let’s hand out the awards! The first one is the “Fan Favorite” award. The nominees are:
Peanut
Tarot

Jess

Pit: And the winner is….Peanut!
*cheering*
Pit: C’mere Peanut
Peanut: Hi again Pit!
Pit: So, unsurprisingly, you won fan favorite. Anything to say about that?
Peanut: I just want to say hi to Grape! *waves to camera*
Grape: Peanut, I’m right here.
PeanutL *sniff* she’s in a better place now…
*sad music plays*
Grape: Sigh…

Pit: Our next award is the complete opposite, the “Fans Didn’t Really Like This Particular Person” award! The nominees are:
Lester
Tarot...wait how did she get most and least liked nominations?
Marvin
Jata

Pit: And the winner is….Tarot why are you already walking out?
Tarot: Well I won obviously. Where’s my trophy?
Pit: It actually was Marvin. Now please leave so our favorite orange cat can get his award!
*Marvin walks onto stage confused*
Marvin: Why did I win…?
Pit: Everyone hated you and your shovel!
Marvin: But I only killed Kevin and Keene in self defense!
Pit: You also killed Grape and Lucrieta by digging pits.
Marvin: Wait those actually worked!? I didn’t even try to camouflage them!
Pit: Haha! Well obviously you did something right. Anyway, here’s your “Fans Didn’t Really Like Me In Particular” award!
Marvin: Gee thanks….

Pit: And our last award, mainly because Hagus doesn’t have any other ideas and also he wants to start a new Hunger Games iiiiiis…. Play of the Game! The nominees are…

Jess taking out the favorite to win with just a knife!

The 3v3 fight to the death, with Lester, Fox, and Peanut being victorious!

Sasha taking out 3 tributes at once!

And finally, Bailey taking out Duchess!

Sasha's quadruple kill to me wasn't that impressive since she used an explosion and it is very easy to get multiple people with that so I am gonna go against the grain and say the 3v3 fight.

Pit: Sasha Sasha Sasha, how did you manage to take out so many tributes at once?
Sasha: Take out? I didn’t date any of them.
Pit: No, I meant like, you eliminated them all at once. That’s pretty impressive!
Sasha: Well Pit, the trick is…

*she leans in*
Sasha: First, you lure them in with a nice laid out picnic. Once they start eating, you move into position quietly. Make sure you keep an eye on them. Once they dropped their guard, you light the match, and BOOM!
Pit: ….you blew up the bomb?
Sasha: No silly, you set off the fireworks for entertainment!
Pit: What fireworks?
Sasha: The underground ones of course!
Pit: …..
Sasha:

Pit: Right! Thank you Sasha!
Sasha: Thanks! Baiii!
*she skips off the stage*

Pit: So, now that the awards are finished, the 2nd Hunger Games may begin! We will be sending the new roster tomorrow, so stay tuned, and may the odds be ever in your favor….

Alright, since most of the roster is the same, I will be highlighting ONLY the districts that have new members!

District 3 swaps out Ralph for Terrance. I don't know how well Terrance does in the field, but maybe it'll help. They need it since how they performed last time

District 6 gets a bit more muscle in their lineup, sorry Lucrieta!

District 8 ditches their smallest member and brings in...Joey? Looks at paper. I guess there's 2 Joeys now?

District 9 succumbs to Duchess' influence, and she gets herself some bodyguards!

In District 10, some more cunning ferals join the group in place of Falstaff and Truck.

District 11 fills their roster with ferrets. This should be fun

And last but not least, District 12 has been almost completely revamped. By popular demand, Daisy is now in the lineup! Fiddler and Keys decided to take a break, so the newest characters of Housepets, Lois and Marion, try their hand at throwing down with the veterans.

I am very excited for this game. Place your bets now, I find it really fun to see people's predictions and let them cheer for their pick!

Huh, this should be pretty interesting. Also, the way Catsuit Joey is counted as a separate character reminds me of the Dragon ball z games; dozens of characters have alternate forms, and each is usually counted as a separate character with their own attacks and stats.

Nice picks, Hagus. There's a few contestants I'm excited to see in action. I'll be rooting for Daisy. She gives me Tarot-esque vibes, I have a hunch she'll be more adept than expected. Time will tell. Also looking forward to what Kari, Lois, and Marion will do.

Well, Lois wasn't planning on playing around.

Also, I never bothered looking into the series, so was the Hunger Games a last-man-standing deal or can you win if all survivors are of the same district? Because if the latter, Poncho kinda put their district at a disadvantage.

In the books and movie, they said 2 could win if from the same district halfway through to cause drama. Then they got rid of the rule before the games ended. Maybe Poncho took Gale out by accident while going for Jess?
