I thought, "I should really do a Dragon-Pete swap! :D "

...And look what happened. Suddenly got the urge for Watership Down.

red looks better. gray's outline clashes in a way that brings back too many bad memories of lazily recolored sprites i would see others claim as 'original'

Actually, the second one doesn't have an outline. Each color used was its own layer. The gray outline is the result of adding effects to each layer and arranging them afterwards. The Black Rabbit was portrayed a few different ways in the movie, so used a little bit of each.

And another in my Watership Down-addled recolors. Went with the TV series design opposed to the movie, as in the movie, the rabbits are designed in a realistic way (note, I am NOT knocking it for that, great movie in my opinion, good choice for the rabbits to seem more realistic) and the series was a lot easier to tell everyone apart.

The nose was interesting. In that regard, both the movie and series gave them slit-noses. I decided to make it the same color as the "mask".

I feel these are my worst ones yet. Nicoles fur pattern just wouldn't translate, and Grapes just seems way too plain.

Okay. Once again, the fur coloring and re-lining the features was tedious, but they came out really good.

And that shows how much I knew of the Megaman series. Didn't know of Bass until I played one of the Battle Network games, and I sucked at the classic Megaman game I had on the Game Boy. Had no idea Bass had a dog as well (I see what you did there with their names, Inafune).

That would be interesting to try, and I just might get Peanut with the domed head Rush has, but don't think I can translate Treble's "mane" to Bino. Just need to get a good Bino outline.

Can you do this color swap: Zach/Grape with Jazz/Spaz

First panel of this strip:
http://www.housepetscomic.com/2011/07/2 ... ce-police/
(I was thinking of the second panel, but they are too small in the 2nd panel)

Tip: since Zach doesn't has a headband but has a collar, you could just do this:

Zach's collar - Jazz's headband

Same for Spaz/Grape:

Grape's collar - Spaz's boots

I am only VAGUELY aware of Jazz Jackrabbit. Should be an interesting endeavor. Thanks for the idea!

Side not, I have been wanting to use that image of Zach in the strip into a classic Metal Gear label. Hasn't happened.
