Is there a mobile friendly way to view the forum? Cause it's a pain to navigate on my phone...

That will probably be fixed when the forum is updated, which is probably gonna take a while :P on the meantime, what's your phone?

-_-
No, there is no mobile friendly version of the forums. That would require the installation of a mod pack that is (quite probably) incompatible with the current version we're using. Rick has said that he wants to update the forums, but that's a large undertaking. You'll likely have to bear with it for a while.

I would have thought not bothering to fix autocorrect's blunders in that post would have illustrated that point thoroughly...

I see users with this issue allot so I decided I'd make this http://computercobra.weebly.com/housepe ... elper.html <- it's a little mobile "helper" which in the end speeds some processes up and conforms better to the mobile device. I know isn't spanned properly, and it hasn't been given instructions yet, but what do you think? What other features would you like to see? I'll be sure to add the instructions "Make it do something when a dropdown's clicked" soon enough.

And here is the source code for anyone who wants to help me put the rest together, would be appreciated.

Code: Select all

<textarea autocomplete="off" autocorrect="off" autocapitalize="off" spellcheck="false"></textarea>

It should also disable auto correct on any mobile device for the time of which the URL is present on that page.

Ah, you meant features of your phone.
Sorry, I thought you meant features of the forums because I know you can disable signatures, pictures and emoticons and things like that to make it load faster and use less internet.

is there a way to tell the forum to display anything clickable 4 times as big and scaled to accommodate a 'portrait' orientations and aspect ratios instead of 'landscape'? cause that'd fix about half the issues.

I don't think so, unfortunately. I think your phone should automatically change the shape of the forums a little when you rotate it. As to the links, all I can suggest is zooming in before you click.

I think this is something important that I'll definitely tell Rick to look into when he reboots the forums though.
