After watching a lot of Soul Eater, I have decided that Grape would be great being played by Brittney Karbowski with a Black*Star like voice.

Eh, most of the VAs I know of are seiyuu (Japanese music, animation, and CD-drama-based acting associations).

I watch mostly American cartoons with some anime on the side and I STILL can't decide which voice actors to use for each character. >_<

I can see Keene being Android 17 (who was my favorite android back then by the way), but I still think that Max should sound like Edward Elric. XP

Honestly, I've often imagined Peanut being voiced by Antony Del Rio in the way he voices Pit in Kid Icarus: Uprising and Super Smash Bros. 3DS/Wii U (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KoRpgzgRQMI).
Probably because although I don't see him as being a ten-year-old or something, I've always seen him as being in his early teens like 13-14
As for King, I can imagine either Chris Pratt or Patton Oswalt voicing him.

This also reminds me... when I first read the comic, I misread Grape's name name as 'Gramps' and so imagined her with Alex Hirsch's voice for Stan Pines in Gravity Falls :P

Edit: Made it clear who 'her' even is

What do you get when you cram a shapeshifter, a dog-dragon, two wolves, a human, a robot, a bear, and a fox into one vessel? (They/Them pronouns)

I was JUST looking into del Rio as a voice for another webcomic, xD
And yeah, Peanut is about 14-16(he's not quite 5, and in HP! one year is 3.5 years for an animal), so you aren't far off.

I assume by "her" you mean... Grape?

Thids is what I got so far:

Peanut: Jack McBrayer (Wander from Wander Over Yonder)
Grape: Tara Strong or Grey Delisle
Bino: Danny Cooksey (Montana Max and Jack Spicer's voice actor)
Joey: Pamela Adlon
Sasha: Hynden Walch (Starfire from Teen Titans)
King: Sean Astin (Chester from Bunnicula, Kodi from Balto 3)
Fox: Kevin Michael Richardson (Tech E Coyote voice)
Maxwell: Jason Marsden (For some reason, he plays a lot of male cat characters)
Zach: Rob Paulsen (PJ from Goof Troop)
Tiger: Justin Roiland (Lemongrab and Blendin Blandin's voice actor) or William Salyers (Rigby from Regular Show)
Marvin: Gregg Berger
Pete: Tim Curry?

i would have gone for Paul Dobson as Pete.
while a good chunk of his repertoire are villans, he also played Matrix on Reboot, and other similar characters. He has a nack for characters that alternate between manipulative, amiable, and threatening.

How about Eddie Deezen voicing Lester? He's basically a typecast for a nerd-jerk. Also, Josh Gad would make a really adorable Dallas (originally, I thought Stephen Furst would make a great Dallas but he has since passed away). Also, now that I think about it, EG Daily would make an even better Joey than Pamela Adlon if she used her Bagheera from Jungle Cubs voice on him.

How about Rick Moranis voicing Res? I can picture Res with a Canadian accent like Rutt from Brother Bear and Rick Moranis also played the equally nerdy and awkward Seymour in Little Shop Of Horrors.

The ones I can put a name to ...

Grape: Raspy-voiced Lisa Simpson.
Max: Basically Milhouse, but with a slight spanish accent.
Fido: Nate Richert (Harvey in Sabrina the Teenage Witch).
Sabrina: Melissa Joan Hart (Sabrina in same).
Tarot: Not quite Beth Broderick (aunt Zelda in same), but similar.
Spo: Like Don Adams (Max in Get Smart; voiced Inspector Gadget), but almost no bass.
Sasha: Dee Dee from Dexter's Laboratory.
King: commoner3 from Thief: Deadly Shadows.
Daisy: commoner4 from Thief: Deadly Shadows (it's pretty close to Tarot's).
Res: Robert Sean Leonard (Dr. James in House).

While I can honestly say that I've never actually read the comic with certain voices in mind (other than the voices in MY mind), I can say that, if you think one voice actor could/should do several different characters, you should understand that they need to be able to do multiple voices. If you do different characters using the same voice, the viewers will know. Nothing bothers me more than to watch an animated show and hear the same actor do several different characters and KNOW it's the same voice actor. When I was a stage actor, one of the reasons I got cast in so many different plays was because I could do different voices and accents. So, when you think about who could do more than one character, think about that.

Morgan Freeman as Bahamut, we can all agree on that. But I generally don't do voices for the characters, they all have a certain voice in my head, but I can't explain the voices in depth.

Hm. Interesting choice. Don't view Pete as having a deep voice as his regular, but definitely for the black bubble text.

Ok this thread convinced me to make an account, because I have some really weird casting choices I'd like to share.

In no particular order

Peanut - A slightly higher pitched Funimation Goku

Kitsune - James Woods 100%

Bino - Bobcat Goldthwait. Tried to conjure up the most annoying voice in the world, and ended up stuck with that.

Pete - The alien with the deep voice from the beginning of episode 22 of the 2003 clone wars cartoon https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mxLB6L90aCQ

Tarot/Dragon(Before I realized they had separate souls) Millie from the english dub of Trigun

Grape - Changes ALL THE TIME! But fore some reason she gets stuck as the giril who does the "Jaiden Animations" videos on youtube a lot.

Mungo - The guy who plays Colossus in Deadpool

Cory - William Shatner

Karishad - TeamFourStar Goku

As you can imagine, Housepets in quite the strange mishmash of insanity in my head.
