The pets with jobs possibily was hinted at with the stuff with the wolves, so I feel this is a pretty likely upcoming arc. Honestly, could lead to some interesting future arcs, plus be nice if the pets weren’t limited to police, farmer, or therapy animals if they want a jobfenrirblack wrote:How about an arc with a seeing eye dog. I feel like that is something we should have seen like in the background somewhere. Can you see Mungo walking around with a blind person? Probably just carry them around in his arms or over his head. Or the pets discover that Bino has been secretly moonlighting as a seeing-eye dog. That would be interesting.

If Bino was secretly a seeing-eye dog that would be really shocking and might lead to him finally growing the heck up.

When Rick does decide to end the series, I hope he does a quick follow up like 10 years later just to see if and how everyone changed.

With what we got in today's comic, I'm thinking a future arc could see the breakup of Parot.

Re: Future Arcs
I've brought this up before in some sense but there needs to be an arc that really focuses on Kitsune. Despite his role in the series we know very little about him beyond what he is willing to show us. Plus there is something else. If he is the "Great" Kitsune then logically there would be regular kitsune running around. Historically they have a reputation of changing into women and seducing men and in several stories have children. Also the Kitsune have a long rivalry with tanuki so what would happen if Kitsune met Itsuki?

Re: Future Arcs
I do like Kitsune, so learning more about him would be an interesting idea for an arc, in my opinion.

I think we all would like an arc that focuses on Kitsune.
Re: Future Arcs
While I wouldn't mind the idea, I feel i have to shoot the idea down of more Kitsune on the basis that I feel he and Rick explained enough as it is. I'm not so sure why we need more Kitsune, but i wouldn't mind him showing up more and be the central focus of the magical shinanigans that goes on in the comic. Think like the Great Gazoo from the Flintstones ~ except the shinanigans stick.

Re: Future Arcs
Just think about Kitsune's backstory or even what he did while Pete and Dragon were doing whatever for their little game. I can totally see Kitsune running around Feudal Japan messing with literally everyone. I would not be surprised if he started a war or two.

I would be able to see him messing around with people, but I don't think he would actually be that cruel enough to start several wars between factions.

Yeah, GK's a big tease, but he's not violent.

An arc with a robotic toy dog from the 90s.
Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.
Re: Future Arcs
Maybe your robotic toy dog could team up with Tiger's penguin from his children's TV program, Doug.

Another one I like because Fox has been mad at Fido for long enough and it needs to be resolved.

I can see that happening though it wouldn't be inexplicable given that Grape did feel Dallas up in the "Temple Crashers" src.

Maybe an arc where their strained relationship causes a problem for a K9 operation, and Sgt. Ralph sits them down and tells them to settle their relationship.NHWestoN wrote:Fox decides he's going to settle things with Fido.

That could be cool but considering the fact that he just participated in what could amount as a large Imaginate! during the Temple Crasher's arc, not sure if he would be that into it.

Re: Future Arcs
As I indicated in the normal strip discussion thread I would really like to see a flashback arc of Grape realizing she liked Peanut more than what was indicated in Imaginate Too; you know how they got together and what not. Something changed between them at some point and we never got to see it; all we got were hints and teases and I feel like it needs more exploration than that IMO.

That actually could be a very classic Housepets! arc so I could see that.
Re: Future Arcs
Yeltsin is another character about due for a return to the stage. BG needs a street-wise Bronx lad to wise up all these suburbanites. (Bet Yeltsin and Eudoant could cook up some serious hustle.)

Re: Future Arcs
A streetwise hustler would be an interesting addition to BG, I wonder if Bino would try and recruit him/her for the Good Old Dogs club or feel threatened by the newcomer and try to assert his position, with the usual results.

Come to think of it, I really would like to see a showdown between Bino and Cori to discover once and for all who is the most pathetic.
Re: Future Arcs
Max and Bino arc. Two of them have to prove who is the big cheese in the family by showing off who is the best boyfriend or signing up for something - possibly the K-9 training course - only to both fail at it.
