Housepets!

I've wondered this for a long time because of course they can't live by themselves. Though I would imagine he/she would be like some paranormal investigator or something. So, any thoughts?

Sabrina's owner is a world traveler of some sort (or at least was at one point). Tarot doesn't have an owner, she just lives with Sabrina and her dad.

If Tarot doesn't have an owner, why does she wear a collar then? Why didn't Sabrina's owner just adopt her?

Likely its because everyone else wears one and she wants to fit in and not look like a feral. Really Sleet I wonder the same thing. It doesn't make much sense since she lives with them full time anyway. Plus she is dating Peanut so its unlikely she plans on leaving anyway, though if you think about it, that and taking quite some time to resolve that thing with Dragon; does lend legitimacy to the idea she might not really be in love with Peanut, and plans on leaving after the duel is done.

As for where she comes from Sabrina likely met her during her travels with her dad so it could be anywhere in the world and that's assuming that Tarot didn't travel there to be met by them under Dragons guidance.

I wonder if I am the only one who thinks Sabrina's owner name should be Henry Jones.

No. She met Sabrina while her and her dad were traveling and when they finally arrived at BG, Tarot was there waiting. Where Tarot has come from has never been expanded on, not even to the furret's beta readers.
