Housepets & Okami Relation?

I saw one of the "Celestial Beings" when i first read HP!, and it had 9 tails on it... That guy is one of the higher villans in "OKAMI"! it's a pretty good game actually, it would be cool to see Rick draw her...BUT is there a RELATION between the 2?

The Japanese kitsune is a mythological fox. It grows more tails the more powerful it gets. This is not exclusive to Ookami (or Naruto, or any other work that uses kitsunes). I believe our kitsune actually has 6 tails, so he's not as powerful as a 9-tailed kitsune would be (assuming things work the same way here).

The one in the comic has nine tails. Shown best in the statue. Ninetailed foxes are everywhere, Naruto, Bleach, Pokemon, Digimon, Ookami... There's quite a few.
Thinking about it, we are pretty popular now huh?

Hmmm.... Yes, it does appear that he has nine tails in his first appearance. But his Valentine's Day card seems to only have him with six.

I would imagine it's hard to get a single-angle shot of a nine-tailed fox that shows all nine tails.

From what I've read "kitsune" just means "fox" in Japanese, so one has to be more specific to point that they're reffering to a magical fox.

"Kitsune" means fox in Japanese, which where believed to be magical. "Kyuubi" is a 9 tailed fox.
