Post "Granted an audience in heaven"... what would you ask?
2014/05/30 comic. "We will do what we can" certainly seems to cover truthfully and honestly answering a question.

What would yours be, if you were King? Something insightful or otherwise interesting?

Mine (best don't view until you come up with your own):
"What - and I'm not asking for an adjective - are the steps, the sequence of actions I will perform that will result in all god-things immediately (regardless of chosen time perspective) losing their relative time perception, powers, and immortality?"
Might go on to say
"Don't worry, adversity builds character, you will be the toughest corpses on your cemetery in a few decades, tops"
(Yeah, I dislike them. Mostly for failing to take note of how mortality makes some things much more serious.)

The answer is "none".
Those traits are inherent in them because of who they are. The same as mortality is inherent in you. ;)

I might come up with something later... This is a toughie. *ponder ponder ponder*

Maybe you meant "no answer exists". That is drastically different. Also, inherent, or taken for granted? ... I'd press the issue, looking for a loophole. Their existence? Interaction with our world? Their will to exist... Oh my, I'm evil. They certainly are vulnerable to emotions, at least.

Still interested in others' ideas for this! Don't take cue from mine.

"Does reincarnation happen automatically and randomly or are we allowed to choose what we want to become?" :?:

Hmm... Reincarnation... is the answer to that question an end in itself, or are you going somewhere with it? I see potential for a superb way to give Pete the finger (as King), but I'm sure that is just my fixation talking :)

I'd ask them what their views are on other, less dangerous, games like chess or cards.

I'd probably ask to hang out with Pete, 'cause he's super-cool and mega-cute. :3

I'd ask why do they tell us to "know your place" when they don't act half-better than us! You know, aside from Bahamut.

@Hlaoroo: likely answer: "All get boring after the first decade, eon tops"
@Rocket Commander: Yeah, like a 'cute' lil' rich brat who enjoys showing off his 'cool' by hurting others, and lacks a mommy to spank him silly.
@SuperStar: "Because we can afford to be hypocrites"? :)

So far, I like the reincarnation idea best (next to my own, of course :))... avatar responsibilities do not carry over rebirth, do they? And just maybe you can set it up so you pretty much continue life from where you left off.

@kaay
It is a genuine question I would ask and yes I was going somewhere with that but I forgot what.

@Foxstar
If I may politely ask who that was directed to?

1. The "at" symbol doesn't actually do anything to show what you're replying to. You might consider using the quote feature.

2. If a user does not quote someone or seem to be replying to the previous post, it is safe to assume they were responding to the original post.

[color=#800000]2. It didn't occur to me that he was responding to the topic until after I posted. When I first read it, I thought he was responding to another comment, since I rarely see him actually comment on the topic.

3. "Is the mission urgent or can it wait a little bit?" :)

The thread creator. If I did well enough to make it before God and granted a chance to speak with him, I really can't think of anything I would ask for, because to me, just having made it there is enough.

I would ask, if given the chance, not something material or advantageous personally, but rather that, after the review of my life, I could see how I affected others, the good and the bad. My best and worst moments in life from the perspective of others. The greatest punishment in death is that rarely do we get to see how we have affected the world, and whether we left it for better or worse.

Actually, Copper, that depends on your religious/theological views but let's not go there given that it is against forum rules.

Now that is a clever one! I like that!

I would probably ask to see the past, how everything happened; while also making sure my mind doesn't overload from all the info. Understanding history with no limits on time would be fun.

"Why do hot dogs come in packages of ten, and hot dog buns come in packages of eight?"

So that you have to buy at least four packages of buns and five packages of hotdogs in order to have an equal amount. A hideous scheme to make OCD people buy more food than they need. :shock:

If I was before Bahamut, I would ask "What exactly would be your worst punishment be?"
