Oh yeah, I've been tought Japanese all my life so I can relate to him, except for he eats kneelling down at a low table, it's nice that Rick did some research but no one in Japan does that anymore.

I think that's part of the point, he's a little too proud of his heritage on occasion, so traditional that it's almost a parody of his own culture, even though he's totally earnest about it.

Oh phew, I came on saw, there was a new message and I thought I was in trouble with the admins again. But you're probably right, but if they showed him without the old culture, probably no one would be able to tell he's Japanese, everyone assumes that Japan's culture is exactly the same as it was 30 years ago. OOPS messed up the quotes, ignore the top half of this that was ... um... the guy above me's post. P.S. All you guys come from such interesting places, all I come from is a over looked town in the middle of a state that I will not disclose the name of.

Obbl, always there with Japanese help.

Our favorite characters are Bino and Tiger.

We just sorta like them for no apparent reason. Maybe it's the fact we feel pity for Bino, albeit not much, and we like Tiger cause he, unlike Bino, is a jerk that means well.
My characters!
I got too many colors to remember. I'll put them here to see. Aren't they nice? Yep! Absolutely!

I know Diss likes the brothers three and I do too, just like fox the most. Really, I love the interactions he has with the brothers three the most! Some of the best little quips the husky has.

I think the ferrets are pretty funny.

As Deadpool famously says, with great power comes great irresponsibility. That pretty much sums most of them up.

^YES. It seems like they've been getting pushed to the side a bit lately. I guess Rick just wanted to focus on other characters for a while, but it's great to see them back in the center of the story again.

I said Tarot before, but now I think my favourite character is Peanut. I really like to think that he has a more thoughtful, calm side like you see in FanFics a lot, but he jumps back into being excited all the time really easily. :P

Ikr! I was so happy when I saw this comic, 'cause it'd been a while since Grape and Peanut had been a huge part of a recent arc.

Now that the King arcs have been resolved (On one hand, those were really muffins and cookies interesting. On the other... I'm really glad that nonsense is all over. My "This is getting TOO pretentious/esoteric/'deep' sensors were starting to go off.), I think I'm gonna have to say...

Grape is consistently my second-favorite character, probably because of mutual interest.
My favorite character at the moment is Satau, for obvious reasons.

I like the K-9 troop: Ralph, Kevin, Fido, Terrance, Spo (yes I count Spo to it. I know he isn't a K-9 but he hangs around with Fido a lot). Especielly Kevin and Ralph, they put a smile on my face.

Fox needs and deserves a special mention. He is, at least for me, the one you can very easily relate to and I think it's really interesting to see how he grows up with the time.

I also like Tarot. She is really funny in her own way, be it as a psychic or not.

Max is just a big charmer. How could you not like that big smile of his?

I also naturally like Peanut and Grape and if someone wants to know the reasons...well...read the comic and read it from the beginning

From the demigods I like Kitsune the most. He is a big troll, charming and made sure nothing bad would happen. I think he was towards Dragon and Pete like a big brother, who wanted to teach his younger siblings a valuable lesson :D

That said there isn't a Housepets character I somehow dislike.

Ah that's just unfair how can we make a favourite character thread without King!?!
In that case I must choose between my other collective favourites. Lets see there is Kitsune, Pete, Fox, Joey, Peanut, the Miltons and Bailey (if only we had King). But my all time favourite other than King would probably be Karishad because he is hilariously insane and breaks the forth wall every now and then.

Well I'm still pretty new to the comic. Only started it this week. (Current in 30 something arc) I really like Peanut. I don't get all the hype with King I mean I like him but not like everyone else seems to. I also like Grape and Maxwell as well as the Arbelts.

Yeah, King has a loooooooong arc. But even if you don't end up being all that impressed with him, hey, to each their own.

King, Fox, Grape and Peanut all rank highly on my end. As for some side characters that could use some love, I'm going to give a shout out to Res.

Because out of the characters, he's the one that has the most development. When he first appeared (without spoiling anything), while he had a tragic backstory, he was cold and kind of a jerk. Nowadays, he's nice and a great friend to anyone.
