Housepets: The Animated Series
C'mon, tell me I'm not the only one who had this idea.
VGcats had an animated series (however shortlived).

I have thought of it before, but I think Rick might be a little too busy to do this. But Ebly is working on a Housepets radio show: https://www.housepetscomic.com/forums/v ... ?f=2&t=268

No, you're not, there's been a lot of people over time who have alluded to one. As of yet, only Tails has made anything actually animated.
I was going to make a joke but then I did.

Ah...been thinking of this for a while, I've been doing a flash project on making a small animation a while back...but was too much to handle on a busy school week. So instead shortened it to a Music video. (To make up for the lack of voice talent I have)

Re: Housepets: The Animated Series
I had always thought of this. Ever since I saw the ctrl alt delete animated series and the vgcats ones. I always wondered if a housepets one would ever be made.
That would be absolutely awesome. (if it's done well)

Oh I'm sure anyone who has ever read a story and liked it considers how it would be if it were animated.
Though to say that doing so would be difficult is an understatement.
Housepets is written in such a way that it works best with a short comic strip format, with each strip presenting a joke, usually at the end.
I mean, you could turn it into a sitcom if you included a laugh track, but it just wouldn't be the same .

Re: Housepets: The Animated Series
It's been thought of but it takes a -lot- of time and effort as well as giving up creative control over your series unless your doing to pretty much start up your own animation house and do it yourself (Astro Base Go). Even then that's no promise of a pilot and even though most Housepets fans are civil and it's clean stuff, the fandom connection with furry wouldn't do it any favors at all.
Honestly the time spent trying to get Housepets animated is time Rick could be spent doing other things, such as drawing, writing or whatnot and keeping control over his stuff. Joint fandom projects are also unlikely because of the way so many people in furry conflict when working with each other.
