Maxwell looks like the Cheshire cat.
Maxwell makes me think of the Cheshire cat with that grin that he has. (seen in my avatar, but it's even bigger in earlier ones) Anyone ever noticed the similar design concept?
He also, now that I think about it, looks like a younger, less dead version of the Cheshire Cat in American McGee's Alice. (though I doubt that was intentional)

Now that I think about it I guess it kind of does a little bit.

Re: Maxwell looks like the Cheshire cat.
I honestly think Maxwell closely resembles the grin trait from Tom.
Tom was known to make that grin on his face when he was getting the upperhand on Jerry and that confident look at times, though the main difference so far is that a bad trait for Tom is that some of the times he would grin when he was the one getting backfired by Jerry.
That's not to say that Maxwell's grin 'is' the same cartoonish grin that Tom uses, but it's very similar i find. I find in essence that it doesn't backfire like Tom's and he only grins when he knows he has the upperhand. i hope it stays that way <3

I was going to make a joke but then I did.

So Max would be the Cheshire cat that isn't always grinning?Ebly wrote:to be fair the cheshire cat is always grinning, and max is not

But I LIKE the Cheshire Cat. It's cool. That was the entire point of this 3:00 AM thread. (I think...)

The floor is lava and Max is a lava blob.
And you're all dead now.
Yeah, I think Max is pretty awesome. He does remind me a bit of the cheshire cat, now that you mention it.

I think it might have something to do with the fact that both Max and the Cheshire Cat are of the feline persuasion.
