I just found out what Tiger is

he's an American Pit Bull Terrier.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Pit_Bull_Terrier

By the way, What's Bino's favourite food?

(I'm sorry it's off topic, but we can go back after somebody answered)

Nice found, it does look like Tiger.

Also, the food thing is definitely on topic. You could ask in the Info thread, or the thread for questions from us to Rick.

edit

2MKc- sorry, but does the word hypocrite ring a bell?? (not to be harsh, just saying)
I'm still very impressed with the pitbull reasearch
but anyway, i still think that fox looks husky-ish- granted, he has shorter hair, but the fur color...

Hey, everyone, I have a great idea. Let's NOT mini-mod, okay?

If you have a problem with someone's post, PM me, Foxstar, or Rick, or report the post. Jumping on people for a silly thing like that yourself is...well, silly. It doesn't hurt to be a little laid back. It's okay to be off topic for a bit. (Although if it does get too far, it's a candidate for a lock.)

Just try to be friendly. I know from my own experience that that can be hard sometimes, but try.

As for the cats, I think Grape might actually be some variant of the Russian Blue, a Korat, or a mix. Max might be a British Bombay. Jasper is almost definitely a Russian Blue, given that his name was originally shared by Tom from Tom and Jerry.

A cat-breed site to help: http://www.cats-central.com/cat-breeds/

Korats look a bit more purple to me, but it may just be the lighting of the image.

I have to agree with that.
Like, most of the cats look pretty cartoonish to me. A select few like Fiddler and the Bigglesworth family have an obvious breed, but mostly they look like 'cat'. But that's just me. I wouldn't be surprised if they had a specific species, but no matter how many cat books I'd read, I wouldn't try to place them.

Ya, peanut looks like across between a fox terrior and a retriever- actually, that really does sum him up.

Actually, cats are individually sculpted by master artists, because they are awesome. Purple cats do exist, they have a variation of black fur that isn't that common, but they aren't as bright as Grape. My guess is that Rick was being silly, as people drawing silly cartoons often do.

you know Rick, I've been doing some thinking, and they have successfully altered the genetics of cats, so that they produce a fluorescent protein that allows tehm to glow in the dark under a black light... you could technically go crazy with that if you wanted to :P... those few comics that feature glowing animals may not be so crazy after all... even if the procedure is incredibly expensive >.>.

Pomeranian, and we know. It's been established a long time ago in this thread.
It's not necessarily a bad thing to repeat information, but it's usually good to read carefully to make 100% sure.

That explains his temper around Bino.

And Sasha's pattern looks familiar, but I can't put my finger on her breed.

Sasha's markings are entirely unrealistic except for one dog that's been found with her markings, but no one knows the genes for it and it's never been seen since. The dog was lost. Here's a pic:

When I saw Sasha I thought right away that Rick was inspired by this one-of-a-kind dog but I'm probably wrong.

Dogs with siamese cat-like markings pretty much don't exist.

But that's just me.

Maybe that dog ran away, was found by Pete, was turned into a comic-book character, adopted by a mean owner and named Sasha! That would explain why Pete said Sasha was protected!

Could be possible, that is, if Pete somehow cross the border into real life. (In your dreams...) xD.
