The Welcome Thread!
Re: The Welcome Thread!
Hello there, names Lyah from Germany and I am what is a rotund anthro Red Panda, and a Furry. Being of the age of 25, working as Garden Landscaper and a more softcore gamer who tends to take a more casual approach in gaming in general. I do love to swim and take long walks, as much to play Games and draw. I tend to hug others in sight and be very polite and caring if needs be. Also tend to hug others in sight... *shares cookies with others*.

Just wondering since you never hugged me and you are both from Germany.

Welcome to the forums, Lyah! I hope that you enjoy your experiences here
Feel free to call me Czu for short. The games on this forum are pretty neat.
Re: The Welcome Thread!
Hi! I'm Jonny, a teenager from Canada whose life pretty much consists of rock music, Nintendo and the internet. I discovered this comic about a week ago...and have since read all 92 arcs. It's probably not the best idea to get obsessed with a webcomic the week before exams. Anyway, I think the whole thing is fantastic. I really want to get into the fandom for this and the furry fandom in general, so here goes nothing.
(also, I've never used a forum like this before, so please forgive me if I have no idea what I'm doing at first)

I'd be lying if I said I didn't know that your avatar was from a LoZ manga, The Minish Cap. Anyway, hello Jonny-boy! I'm Human Author, it's a pleasure to meet you.
And I'm Mickey Micks Mouse. Welcome to the forums! And don't worry about being a little confused, we all are when we first get here.
If you ever need help, don't hesitate to ask a mod or one of your fellow forumites!

Welcome, JonnyNova! Great to have you! Canadians are awesome people in my experience so I'm sure you'll fit in perfectly!
Like Mickey said, don't be afraid or intimidated by the newness and bigness of it all. We were all once where you are now so we all know what it's like. Also please do feel free to contact any of our staff at any time if you need a paw with anything at all or if there's anything we can do to help you settle in. You can tell us by our dark blue or bright green names and our custom ranks. We're all just regular users who have a few extra tools to help people so don't be afraid to poke any of us at any time. There's also an "Ask A Mod" thread where you can ask any questions you might have and a mod will respond to you in the thread. Some users find that less daunting than talking to us directly through private messages. You're free to do whichever you like.
So yeah. Welcome to the forums!
Oh, welcome to you too, Lyah and Cindy! Glad you made it!

Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.

Hello! I'm Sofia, or KneeFingers, or whatever you want to call me. I started reading Housepets like 2 years ago, got distracted around The Unbearable Lightness of Being a Dog, forgot to keep reading, and then got reminded recently to pick it up again. I started over from the beginning and read it all in about 3 days... I don't know what to do with my life now. But yay, I can finally hit the forums spoiler-free!
Anyway, I'm an art student, graphic designer in-training, hobbiest writer, newbie furry, and a devotee of the Opener of Ways. ALL HAIL. I'm thinking of trying out the RP forums, although I'm not a very good rper so I'm intimidated. I'm always slightly intimidated. It's a way of life for me.
But yeah, I can't wait to meet all of you guys and see what this fandom has to offer.

I'm glad to hear you're interested in the RPs! I'm a mod of that section and I love getting people into our RPs and enjoying themselves. Feel free to ask any time if you need a hand settling in or if there's anything I can do to help you feel more at home and/or less intimidated.

Re: The Welcome Thread!
I am DigitalBrave3. I am a big fan of Transformers, One Piece, Power Rangers, Kamen Rider, Ultraman, Digimon, Pokemon, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Star Trek, and also Housepets ( otherwise I wouldn't be here). So, obviously, I am a huge nerd. I discovered the comic's existence about a year or two ago when it was one of the comics on Tom Fischbach's (author of the webcomic TwoKinds, which sucks by the way) recommended comics list. I check out Housepets about a week ago because curiosity got the better of me, and I discovered what is probably my favorite webcomic ever! Live long and prosper everyone!
