Honestly, I don't know if that signature banner makes a reference to something, now I would like to know too. I didn't make it, it's present in the signatures banners topic here. I just liked it and decided to use it because there's my favourite couple of the comic.

Hi, I'm Douglas (refer to my sig tag). So I'm sort of new to the Housepets! universe, but I've become quite a fan over the past couple weeks. So, the full story behind the name - I decided to start writing my own little story set in the Houspets! universe with myself as one of the protagonists (is it still an OC if it's based on yourself?).

Long story short, I made a petty wish that I could become a dog and demigod called The Genii decided to grant it - of course, there were strings attached:

First, and most obvious, is that I'm stuck with the name Douglas, unable to think or say my previous name (The Genii sort of ripped off that idea from Pete). Second, I was transported to the Housepets! universe and can't get back to my universe - The Genii is an expert in red tape and loopholes; by the time any of the other higher beings could get through all the bylaws and such and get clearance for me to go back, I'd be long gone anyway. Third, I didn't really get a choice as to what type of dog I would become (I'd have been a wolf or a Tamaskan, and in my own universe); turns out I became a Pembroke Welsh Corgi - not that I'm complaining; corgis are cool.

Also, I should mention that Dragon, though unable to change my circumstances, was compassionate enough to send in my best friend, who chose to go in as a husky. He can go back and forth between universes every so often, and is still able to say (and think) his old name - lucky dog!

My surname is that of my new owner, Thomas Collier, a fairly new resident in Babylon Gardens who, out of the goodness of his heart, took my friend and me in.

That's pretty much it about me.

That sounds like a great story! Perhaps you should tell it in the Fan Projects section? Why not tell us a little of your real self here instead? What do you like doing? What are you interested in? We do encourage creativity and having/taking the role of an OC based on you is all well and good but we still like to talk to you as you and getting to know you, even if we address you as your character.

Oh, yeah - sorry. Sometimes I get a little bit carried away with the fiction. So, I like to draw and write, play computer games (Civilization V, mostly), and watch older TV shows (Knight Rider, MacGyver, Murder She Wrote, etc. - only problem with this is there aren't going to be any new episodes). I have an interest in werewolves (the nicer kind - not the tail-less ape-wolves), Housepets!, my church (I'm LDS - AKA a Mormon), and sometimes politics, and am very limited in interests beyond these. I have an INFP personality, if that helps.

I'll consider posting the story, but I've only just started. I'd like to get a few chapters done before I start putting it up to scrutiny. https://www.housepetscomic.com/2014/01/ ... called-it/

Maybe. Are there any set in Babylon Gardens? I (my character, that is) sort of reside there, at least in the story. Might be a while before Douglas ventures to the outside world.

There are not any set in Babylon Gardens, but there are some in the same universe, different towns.
There is one set in the past, filled with pirates and ships and the like.
There is one set in the future, filled with androids and technology, and it all takes place ON THE MOON!
Then there are your fun, happy-go-lucky roleplays like Richmond Acres, Sunset Plateau, and Richardson Valley!

With your imagination, you will be welcomed wholeheartedly to our section of the forums!

Hello! I'm D3ath_0ps, also known as Lawrence. I First saw Housepets! on an app called iFunny while roaming the collective area and got hooked ever since the first panels I saw. I love to sing, play video games, Magic: The Gathering, watch movies, and recently write fan fiction! I'm usually shy person, but I'm slowly changing over the years.

I also made my own character in my free time named "Sparks," named mainly because of the nickname that I was called by my friends, "Sparky" (Also one of my old dogs names).

I guess that's it... ^w^/

Err, hi. I just signed up. I discovered this comic some weeks ago, caught up a couple days ago, and waffled about whether or not I wanted to join the forum. I decided to after all.
I'm a furry, a gamer, a writer (both fanfic and original stuff), and a major league comic/manga/anime/Disney geek. I love Spider-Man, Archie (which is where my username comes from, Vegas is Archie's dog), Sailor Moon, Wonder Woman and many others. Nice to be here.
