Name: Valence vixent nighthand

Species:Red fox (raccoon furstyle)

Appearance: fur color is like that of a raccoon, he has red eyes and wears a collar with a pocket on the back of his neck.

Personality: vix is curious and freeminded. he always has an idea and loves to think things through quickly. but sometimes hell refer to books for answers. Hes loved reading and drawing and has a photographic memory. He'll freely talk with people and help out when he can. Although he is this way he holds many things away in secret.

Background: parents or owners where separate identitys. His father was a master thief and taught him many tricks to his work and his mother was a mythologist for a university. they lived in a two story house for some time until a night his mother died. His father went into shock and ended up moving to another city. Vix hoped this would help but the idea backfired when his fathers loss for his wife broke and he went crazy about it. vix had to call the cops and send his father to a psychiatric asylum. He moved again later to his old caretakers. unable to keep vix and believing he too would go crazy they used vix's belongings and shares to license him his own bike and pay for his own multi-storied place at edgecity then aided his move. Vix's father is now slowly regaining from his psychotic episode and trys talking to vix by phone when he can.

and believes the myths are true with the right facts involved.
hes very cautious in the dark.

Is he intended to be a hybrid animal? Or does he just dye his fur that way because he likes the way it looks? I’d imagine he’d be a pretty popular customer at EC’s pet salons in that case.

Could you explain this better? If he’s living on his own, and it’s not some abandoned building he’s made into some makeshift home, he’d have to have an owner somewhere.

But it actually wouldn’t be that out of place for him in this game, to be some crafty animal who lives in one of the city’s multi-story abandoned homes/apartments/stores, and just survives by thievery like most stray or urban wild animals do.

Or he could be like Reno, who’s sponsored by a close family friend with lotsa cash, and lets him live in his own apartment space, and can get him licensed to ride motorbikes and such...


Other than that, maybe just expand a little on why he’s here. (if a stray with no owner living there by choice with him).

and I don't really know how his hair is to be I just thought it would be a nice cliché towards him being a thief.

So we can assume he’s riding on a sponsor with cash, and the fur is just a fashion statement he likes to maintain just for the sake of character.

The motorbike thing was just an example by the way, not a recommendation. It’s just a little unimaginative to make him exactly like Reno.

Maybe he’s got some fancy little ATV or getaway go-cart he had salvaged and souped-up just for him.

well bike doesn't say anything towards how many wheels on it. I was thinking towards a three wheeled trike but the four wheelers good to.
but other than that I have no ideas.

I personally have a hatred for tricycles...but that’s just me.

So either that or a quad runner? That works too, though not very fast or crafty :/

Thus far we’ve got a fox who loves myths and is a pickpocket/thief by trade. He colors himself like a raccoon just for the irony, and rides a quad bike through the empty, pothole ridden streets and suburbs.

Also, one of his parents is insane.

well if you want creativity I can say that the trike is more like the can am trikes today with black and dark green paint style on it and connects to his watch for locating it that belonged to his mother and now currently own it and in the rear side compartments are books his field satchel and a survival backpack. extra bag would be in his house or a smaller version is on him at all times, he keeps his thieving equipment in the collar pocket behind his neck.

I could also say he uses a military mule as his vehicle gained by his fathers thieving. and that carrys his bags in the back, the mule is modded to have side paneling and seem more car like or has a more dune buggy role cage appearance. and uses that to get around.

im trying not to go overboard with this but I can.

I’m just criticizing to sort of encourage pulling the details together to make playing a lot easier and more interactive without being too overblown or generic.

If he’s a little fox thief, and has a sponsor with money, something sleek, fast, and custom-made would probably suit him better than a cumbersome ATV. He could speed all around Edge looking up places that sound suspicious or of urban legend.

But the Military mule sounds just as fitting, as he can move things too big or heavy to otherwise get away with. That in addition to one of those fancy wrist GPSs’.

Just flush out all the detail a little more. I did say it looks good.

Hyper is very nice and always happy. He enjoys being around others. He is loyal to his friends and will protect them. Hyper enjoys practicing fighting moves with his kunai. He can't explain things without pictures, which is why he has the camera. He loves to play with knives.

Hyper grew up friendly towards everyone. His parents would always yell at him for playing with knives. One day, he accidentally cut a piece of his ear off. His dad eventually gave him a wooden kunai to make sure he wouldn't cut himself again. His family eventually decided to move to Edge City.

This kitten sounds like an urban ninja. Just a few questions and critiques.

The kunai knife he has, is it a live blade or is it completely wooden?

Why does he have a shukaku eye? Is it a contact?

The kunai is entirely wooden. As for his eye, it's his actual eye not a contact, but I don't know how to explain how he got it.

Then I’d suggest either making it a more normal eye, or thinking up a realistic reason for it.
