Did you see LC's post on the last page, Hotep?
Also, hyper, Gabriele is waiting for Lyvve to turn around and see the spider.

B) a giant game of hide and go seek
C) a mystical beast break out an the characters ahve to find each one around town.

Ill take other ideas too if you have any suggestions or you can vote one of the letters.

I think losing everyone in a hedgemaze or cornfield maze could be fun. Imagine the things Horus and Liesel could fill it with! I'm thinking a Harry Potter type maze but less dangerous.

Ok so, before I think of a character I need some confirmation on 1 thing and 2 questions.

1. I thought I saw something about magic in the description. Can I have some information about what it is talking about?
2. Is there anything you guys want to have in here. Like, a certain breed or strong in a certain stat.
3. I have no idea what is going on in game atm last time I looked at the RG thread there was some kinda of snow storm or something.

1) Basically any magical ability you want to give your character within reason and within HP! ratings. It can be a good idea to have a limitation of some sort on the power depending on the nature of the power you choose for your character.

2) Not so far as I know. We seem to be mainly normal pet-type animasl rather than exotics though.

3) We've just started a new day and most of the characters seem to be exploring Horus's shop. Aside from that not much is happening. Hotep was just talking about starting a new arc.

Ok good luck getting another.
As for powers anything goes as long as its not overpowered and is not complex.
As for current time as he said most characters at at horus shop looking at different things for free since its there first time there. Later in posts im going to start the ark for a hedgemaze.

I feel like I should contribute to this RP as apposed to just shouting about broken power jacks so I would like to second this Idea

I edited Orange's stats, because Otters can run o.k on land, but not really fast.
I substituted the point for Orange's endurance.
I also made Orange's perception 1 point less.
I used that point on Orange's strength. I'll be adding a photo of Orange soon.

WEll I was thinkning along the lines of some type of elemental control, or maybe telekinesis.

Re: PF: Radiant Gardens OOC

by Hlaoroo
Gabriele already has telekinesis. Luke has control over the wind and Frost seems to be able to freeze things. Lyvve has control over fire. I suppose yours could be an earth-bender, although that may be overpowering. Or he could be like Briar from Tamora Pierce's Circle of Magic and control plants. You know what else would be cool? Power over light and darkness: the ability create shadows and darkness or blinding light, to keep things hidden and expose others, the ability to bend light around things, including yoursellf, rendering them invisible.

Plants sound good. but so does light and darkness.

Well which do you think will suit your character's personality more?

i would say earth bending is ok as long as the control is not as big as a 2ton boulder standing one story tall

replace collar with a leaf design.

When traveling in forest, he wears a leaf cloak.

Personality:

Ark is a mysterious dog, who lives in a small tree house with his family. He used to live in a small town where him and his family made a living by helping the townsfolk with their powers. But Ark was young at the time and didn't have full control of his powers. One day he accidentally destroyed some houses when he got angry at some bullies. The town responded horribly to the ordeal, and chased the out of town. He and his family traveled for a couple of years, hiding their powers. In order to keep anything from happening in the future, they decided to settle down in the forest near Radiant Garden. The family usually avoids the town, but they go occasionally for supplies. For the first couple of months living deep in the forest, Ark was working on controlling his powers. When is owners confirmed that he could control his powers they allowed him to go into town.He also like to collect Religious/ancient artifacts.

Firstly, mentioning religion is agains the forum rules, so I would suggest giving him another interest instead of religious items. Secondly, why does his family live in a tree house and why have they secluded themselves? I'd like a little more explanation of that but other than that it looks good. ;)

I've had an idea for a while that I've slowly been nursing into fruition. my plan is to compile this RP into a book like thing. I had this idea when I first joined this forum and decided to read through the first few pages to get a feel for this RP's style. while I was able to get through it I found it a bit hard due to the constantly changing perspective. my Idea is to re-write the RP from when Kane, as that's when I joined and I have the best feel of that time, the re-write will be in no ones perspective, as It will bounce around to catch the action. i won't be actually re writing this topic but i want to set up my own topic somewhere in this forum. what I want is peoples permission to use their characters in this re-write.

Ok so obviously since I forgot the rule the drawing isn't fully accurate. And if the reaso why there secluded is to cheesy then ill change it all together.

OK, my question now is this. If his family is as reluctant to leave the forest as you imply then surely he'd be raised with those same values, so why would he be drawn to leave and interact with the other characters? Sorry to be difficult. ;)

Grimms: I'm not sure how well an RP would work as a book simply due to the way they're written...

that's why I intend this to be a re-write changing the way its written to be more bulk approachable.

Good question, and I don't mind if your being difficult. This was just a little bit rushed because I was trying to get in before the new arc started. but now I think I hit a little brick wall. I'll have to think for a bit cause i'd like him to be somewhere really close if not exactly in the forest.

I think it'll be a little while before the arc is actually started since Hotep will have to flesh out all the details first. Do you have any other ideas for his back story?

Well, we'll see what the others think, grimms.

Well this i a first for me, because Obviously Koa doesn't have any powers so a back story is easym but you cant just do the same thing for someone who does have powers. You kinda need to explain.

Re: PF: Radiant Gardens OOC

Posted: Thu Oct 03, 2013 12:53 pm
by Hlaoroo
Not really. Gabriele and Liesel just kind of had the powers but the neighbours kind of got freaked out which is why they moved to RG. It can be something as simple as that.

Sorry for double post But I edited the sheet what do you think, of the back story now...and I' sorry I couldn't really think of anything simple thats different, than what your example was. I hope that the modifications are good enough.
