There is a person employed at abattoirs (slaughterhouses) whose sole job it is to wash cows' butts once the cow is dead before the cow gets turned into meat. This is to keep contamination from the area where they chop the cow up.
And you thought your job was bad!

"Mame chishiki" is Japanese for "fun facts" or "trivia". The words literally means "beans of knowledge".
This bit also serves as the inspiration for the Mameshiba (Shiba beans) videos, where all sorts of beans shaped like cute dogs say a trivial, and usually gross, fact that usually grosses out the unfortunate people who happens to see them.

The Orange River in southern Africa isn't named for the fruit or the color; it's named for the Dutch royal family who sent explorers to "discover" the area.

The Kuala Lumpur railway station was built to withstand up to two feet of snow, despite Malaysia having a tropical climate. It was built following the British building code back then during the Birtish occupation of the Malayan Federation, and the architect was a friend to a British loyalist.

Woody Woodpecker, Yosemite Sam, Sylvester and Tweety, Porky Pig all sang songs of their own.
All the characters sang for the theme song of the Bugs Bunny Show meaning Mel Blanc sang the same song many times over and had them all recorded onto the same tape.
Bugs Bunny sang many songs of his own in his shorts including this duet with Elmer Fudd, this square dance in which his antagonists followed his instructions to effectively defeat each other for him.
There's also an entire Beatles Album sung by the Looney Tunes featuring such songs as Hello, Goodbye" and Yesterday.
Mind = Blown!
Also, I just have to add a link to this awesome song made using recordings of real Tasmanian Devils as the "lyrics".

That's the patron saint of voice acting for you. While it's said he's the "Man of Thousand Voices", that's slightly off... he only did a mere eight hundred and fifty different voices, according to his biography. Pretty much anything revolving around Mel Blanc is going to seem insane, considering he was literally a one-man voice acting studio.

while we're on the subject of Mel Blanc (though this was probably posted before at some point):CosmicCoyote wrote:That's the patron saint of voice acting for you. once, after a car accident, Mel Blanc was in a coma for 3 weeks. each day the doctor would ask how he was doing, and got no response.
then one day the doctor decided to ask "Hey, Bugs Bunny! How are you?" and Mel, still in a coma, responded "Ehh, just fine, Doc. How are you?". Then whenhe asked how Porky was doing Mel responded "J-j-j-just fine, th-th-th-thanks!"
I hope to one day play a character so well I could play them in my sleep
