This is the thread where we find stuff on the Internet that you will probably never need in real life.

Who wants to learn some flag semaphore?

I wholeheartedly support this thread. :3

Here's a radiation dosage chart. Apparently, eating a banana gives you a .1 micro-Seivert dose.

Now we know!

And knowing is half the battle.

Yes it as, and what a useful and meaningful subplot it was.

Mathematical equations are not useless!
Mathematics is a very helpful tool that can be used to describe naturally arising phenomena, quantity, structure, shape, change, and relationships. What constitutes the notion of useless anyway? Mathematical equations are simply there to state the relationship of two expressions. There is also an infinite amount of mathematical equations, so you could not possibly write all the useless ones here anyway. Because mathematical equations can be created indiscriminately, there will be infinite numbers of useless mathematical equations and infinite numbers of useful mathematical equations depending on your definition of useless.

I have an inkling that someone will come here and attempt to disprove this completely...

The uncertainty principle is not really something that everyone has to know. Although it is extremely important in quantum mechanics, most people do not really need to know much about quantum mechanics. Or maybe it is useful and we will need to use it everyday from now on...

I was confused at first when I first saw this, but apparently you're talking about the English voice actor. XD
I've only watched Digimon with English subs, so I never knew.

Anyway, the Japanese seiyuu (voice actor) for Guilmon is the same as Son Goku from Dragon Ball, and is a 75-years-old woman named Masako Nozawa.

Also, any piece of string or pliable, thin and slender thing like rope or earphone cable, that is longer than 46cm will always get tangled if left on its own in a container (like a bag, your pocket etc)

In France the Disny Pixar movie "The Incredables" is called "The Indistructables" (Les Indistructables), dispite the fact that the French word for incredable (incroyable) is actually better!

Depends what you mean by math equations. Math equations in general are useful to 100% of the population.

The only useless equations are ones that will never be true. For example: x=x+1 . No value of x can satisfy this equation, it can lead to a fallacy of 0=1.
