I thought Id just make a bit of a "Talk-about-it" Thread :3 HERE IT IS

I did read it, and I kinda do. To be honest, I have lost a bit of interest of it during the whole cue ball head telling the story part. I got a few pages to catch up on, and just do not feel up for it. I like their animations a lot though.

I liked it better when the art was less good and the only good art same from the art shifts.

Doc Scratch was supposed to be tedious and unlikable. Thankfully it's over before long, and it gets really awesome after that.

I love this comic so much. It and Housepets! are my favorites of all time. It's really a fantastic piece of literature. And yes, I'm judging it by the standards of all media. Not just webcomics.

I agree with everything that was just said xD

And ~O 3O~ Im guessing that you are all pretty far along/caught up. So I was wondering who was your favorite character ^w^

Mine is a tie between John/Jade/Nepeta/Vriska >.< I can't decide x3

I like Rose, Nepeta and Vriska, myself. Jade is cute and also super awesome, but she's not really the deepest character. Really, though, the entire cast is completely stellar.

So what's people's interpretation of the dead trolls appearing in the most recent update? Could it just be Roxy's void powers doing something, or are they alive in some sense?

I love this comic (and Problem Sleuth that came before it) the one major problem I have with it is when they have the really long pesterlogs and stuff, that are like mostly typed in strange the typing quirks by the Trolls and R-Kids. It makes it so hard to read and get though, and some times it takes me like 20 to 30 minutes to read longer ones and half the time I just kind of skim them and read the important parts of it just to understand what is happening.

Some trolls are easier to read than others. Karkat is easy but painful, Kanaya, Nepeta and Equius aren't bad, and then there's Feferi and Sollux. *groans*

I'd like to report that I am now exactly 1000 pages away from the current page.

equius did get a bit difficult, like when he said something along the lines of "looks to be 100%" which was written as "100% to be 100%"
also, his adventuring days are over, he took an arrow to the knee... then died.

Well, while I can't say the reason for the quirks, I must protest that Homestuck is not a story to be skimming! Plus, I find it hard to believe that after a couple thousand pages, you're 2tiill haviing diiffiicltiies. You s)(ould be able to UND--ERSTAND t)(is stuff by now!

Dirk continues to prove, without even necessarily doing anything at this point in time, that for an imaginary character in a webcomic, he is really my kind of guy.

John's especially. I do love me some Mixed Berry Social Anxiety Disorder Gushers. *noms*

I like how he hated Betty Crocker so much and now Jane is the heir to the Crocker fortune

I know that's not exactly a revelation, like, that is pretty much always going to be the case

I just really like it

Considering Jane is his grandmother, he's also an heir to it.

Though not biologically related to the batterwitch. Betty Crocker is a troll.

yes well that is the idea

i know someone who actually went so far as to say UU is the condesce and she's leading the kids right into some kind of trap, and while that wouldn't be terribly inconsistent given we don't have very much information to be consistent with, i'm not entirely sure i believe it

Ooh, I never even thought of that! I really hope not; UU seems like she's really sweet. I kinda like her. D:

Or maybe Betty Crocker is just misunderstood, kinda like beta Roxy?

that's not outside the bounds of possibility either!

but it's the same kind of thing where the bounds of possibility are pretty large because we don't actually have that much information

I can't choose really, but I still like Karkat. And I love Jake and Jane with their tendency to mix wholesome old-timey interjections with more modern curse words

chastity was Kanaya. and wasn't the encryption Karkat, but he couldn't get anything from it since he was a bad programmer?

So what would y'all's mythological role be? For myself I was thinking Mage of Hope, but then the recent update happened and it's possible mages are gender-specific, so it's possible I'd be Witch of Hope instead?

I have no idea, but a Tumblr thing using my initials said Seer of Time.

Re: Homestuck

A little while ago, I was told do to a very long, very annoying series of personality tests that were then in very vague ways linked to the roles. [Thing1] of [Thing2], right? I had to do one test to figure out what Thing1 was, then another test to figure out what Thing2 could be, because the third step was to look at what supposedly your personality is like at various 'stages' of emotional health regarding your first result (so you had to go back and look at that again) and then depending on whether you were at level '3' and above or '4' and below you were assigned one or the other of the two options you had left for Thing2. It was a massive pile of crap and somehow, instead of being one of those tests that say things so vague that every result fits, it said things so specific that none of the results fit. In the self-rating part, I was about halfway between '1' and '5', but don't get me wrong – I was absolutely nothing like '2', '3', or '4'.

So after finally muddling through this bloody thing and taking a heck of a lot of liberty in deciding what I'm closest to, I found out that I am apparently a Seer of Mind.

Guys I'm Terezi
