Oh, that's the day where aliens try to take over the world and get butt-kicked by Will Smith, isn't it? ;)

That's actually every day. Will Smith is just that efficient.

This is our victory dance, Sleet. Not until the fat lady sings.

I don't know about the other Americans on this forum, but for me, July 4th is that wonderful time of year where my family has a nice, fun time doing absolutely nothing.

It's sort of a tradition.

I love July 4th because my birthday is in the same month. I mean, I've always liked it because of the fireworks and family parties, but just being in the same month as my birthday makes it that much better for me.

I like how Iowans celebrate Independence Day. Lots of local events and everybody's out doing something.
My manager let me go home today due to how un-busy it was. :D

It's a good day for Mexico's flamboyant sombrero.
20th century fox? Given that this is the year 2020, that fox must be dead by now. Sadface! : (

We celebrated with a lot of explosions. Such as a paper bag full of $100+ worth of fireworks being ignited at once.

The 4th of July. The day America gained independence from Britain.
... And ironically the only date where it's organized the British way, not being July 4th.

Roland Emmerich movies suck!

I got the the day of the 4th off and I could not go visit anyone. On top of that, it rained all day and most of the night. When the rain did stop, the drunken frat boys in my neighborhood started shooting at each other with roman candles and bottle rockets. They didn't hit each other, just every car in site. I had to be up this morning at 5 AM but I had to sleep through what could have been a reenactment of the Siege of Malta.

I would be very happy to reenact a battle, just where are you and how much do you want the place to resemble Beruit by the end?

Would you believe me that this was actually a result of holding shift for too long and not realizing it?
