Well, I slept in until 10, ate breakfast, took a nap at about 11, and didn't wake up until 3. Where has the day gone!?
Note to self: Don't try to use Nyquil as a pain reliever at 1 o'clock in the morning...

We put up our Christmas tree this weekend as well. It's a new tree that we got at the Habitat for Humanity Re-store, something that was in a crunchy but still-sealed box for thirty dollars. I guess some store dropped off a bunch of boxes at the end of last season. We took a chance, and it turned out to be a beautiful tree! It almost doesn't fit in our room but luckily we have nine foot ceilings.

Today I am turning off this computer and unplugging in order to cram for tomorrow's exam. For it begins: My PhD written Comprehensive examinations. That is what I am doing today, and tomorrow, and Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. It's a whole week of all-day exams to see if I'm fit for moving onto the next step as a PhD student researcher.

We blew a tire on the way to the school - waiting for them to replace the tire and probably won't make it to work.
Not that I'm complaining - on a rainy dreary day like today, I'd rather be in bed. =P
EDIT: Still went to work, but it was a good day. (One of the kids complimented my hair :) )

You scheduled an RP? Man, I must be low tier roleplaying then, I just kind of played pickup RP's.

First exam took me six hours to complete and left me wasted with a migrane, so I couldnt study. I went to bed at 730 pm and just got up. So now its time for exam number 2, and its another day-long affair. Todays exam might be the roughest one of the week. I've decided to bring a bag of chocolate chip cookies and Strohs beer with me to the exam. Probably save the Strohs for when im wrapping it up. Maybe I should bring two...

What book are you reading? I'm currently reading Enders Game for school. Easy read, but it's a fun little book.

"Infection" by Graham Masterton. I got it as a gift from my cousin in June. It's been a while since I've read horror book, but I'm on page 150 and it's alright so far. Graham put some interesting ideas, but I did not expect some things to stumble upon there.

Oh, and it's for mature audiences. Which of I was not aware either...

I got into "And Then There Were None" by Agatha Christie again (first time was in 2009). I really wish they made a movie that actually followed the plot closer. The only movies have Vera and Lombard falling in love when everybody dies and changed some of the causes of deaths also.
