Post by Ebly »

It may be christmas eve still for most of you, but it's christmas day here.

So merry christmas.

Also merry any number of other days you celebrate in this approximate date.

Yay presents!
I was going to make a joke but then I did.

Does this mean another Thematic Arc of Questionable Quality?

But no, awesome.

I guess I have to say what my gifts were:

A set of four hot sauces (they're supposed to be from different parts of the world)
A Tokidoki (a Japanese-inspired American brand) calendar
Singstar microphones (...I don't even have a Playstation? But from what I hear they work with computers.)
Dessert cookbook (Yay! Cooking desserts is fun.)
'Designer' deodorant and shampoo (I could take it badly but to be honest they smell really nice 8D)
Electric shaver (THIS I DID TAKE BADLY but I still like it because I actually have to use it)
Ned Kelley statue (definitely a David thing to give. I'm not surprised.)
Mini taxi model with a clock on the door (another David thing, ahaha.)
SECRET GIFT THAT WILL INSPIRE WAR (AWESOMEAWESOMEAWESOME)

...There's also one gift I haven't got, that I get when I go back to my mum's house next week. :B

I got a heeeeeck of a lot of gifts, but on the other hand, I gave one to everyone else as well, so they all ended up with a heck of a lot of gifts too. :'D

Hmm, since everyone's posting what they've got, I think I may also give it a try:

Money, money and once again money. My family does not buy me anything (big) now, they just give me money and I can buy what I want, which is usually costs several times more than all the money together I've got, but that's ok, since I earn my own green papers (actually, in my country they're not green), but Christmas is a nice financial help, which speeds things a little up. And now, my ultimate Christmas present I'm going to buy is.... (oh didn't I write this already? I've just got deja vu. Some brain electrical interference or glitch, I don't know) Lenovo Thinkpad X200 Tablet (multitouch version). Ta daaa! :D

Also, I've got some green teas and very high quality ones. They taste great (no sugar or any other tastespoiler) and I can made 3 infusions from it yesterday so far, without any taste loss and most significantly, they contain plenty of my precious fuel - caffeine. Maybe it will be possible to make more, but I stopped yesterday at 4 am, when I was wondering if I'll ever fall asleep again and that there may be some truth in the joke "programmer wakes up on the Monday and thinks: 'great! I'll sleep only twice and it will be Saturday!".

Yes and two pens (yellowie and bluie (casing, not the ink)! They won't last too long...) some chocolate with these air bubbles inside (great way to make the chocolate look bigger to sell it to more customers, without increasing the amount of the chocolate itself!) and some mints. And of course, the usual socksweater duo. By the way (I hope I'm not annoying with this), I like the present I gave to my mum: a short abstract film called The Clock (hidden meaning included)
