Current Ringtones

So, recently, I finally got a smartphone after having a flip phone for who knows how many years...man, I've missed out  . I've been programming in ringtones, with Ice Cap for my calls and Bloody Tears (Dracula X Chronicles Version) for my alarm in the morning.

So...I pose this question to you! What ringtones do you use for your calls and/or alarms?

My phone wakes me up with the Star Trek Enterprise Theme and rings with the The Big Bang Theory Theme.

I want to say technically my ringtone is a very loud alert noise (because it was the most obnoxious one I could find), though I keep my phone silent.

I've got the Doctor Who theme, "I Am The Doctor", and finally (maybe my favorite) the theme from the 90's X-Men cartoon

my text alert sound is the Tardis

The most I know of ringtones is that movies use them to help make characters appear 3D, and sometimes for a joke (or a cool reference).

I use the default ringtone personally. For text messages, I have the the star wars blaster sound. :P

I prefer having my phone on vibrate, so my ringtones are all default because I never use them.

My alarm however is not the default. It's some strange thing that sounds kinda nice and calming, but at the same time loud and annoying whenever I set my alarm early for some reason and forget to change it back.

Before I had a smartphone I didn't even use a ringtone for my alarm. I would just let my phone (Which I keep on the opposite side of my room) vibrate and that would be enough to wake me up.

When I had my old phone back in high school my ringtone was the Pokémon battle music and text messages were the "got item" fanfare.

Ah, My wake-up-alarm-tone is this remix of Castlevania: Requiem for the nameless victims:

And my ringtone is "Hollywood Hills" from Sunrise Avenue :)

I'm a default guy.
But my sister's text alert is the classic Navi: "Hey! Listen!" which I adore

My mobile phone has seperate ring tones for when I got a call and when I got a text.

For calls I have it set to His World (Instrumental) - Sonic '06 OST.

For texts I got it set to Mr. Fox In The Fields - Fantastic Mr.Fox OST.

I can't seem to be able to set a custom alarm for reminders on my phone's in-built calendar. It's stuck on some classical symphony, I'm not sure which one.

I used to use Tsuki to Naifu as my ringtone for several years, I love the guitar!

Unfortunately though, the mellow sounds meant that I have trouble hearing the phone go off whenever a call came in, even at max volume. My brother who prefers to call more than text was so mad at me, he yelled at me to change to a louder song!

So I did, so I chose the loudest song I have in my phone, which is Okami - Red Helmet's Extermination. Safe to say, I almost never missed a call after that, though it always gives me a jolt whenever it rings! @_@

Text message (or SMS as we call them here), is just a stock chime.

My current ringtone is the Top Gear theme.
My alarm tone is Abandoned in Place from The Orange Box because I have the Orange Box OST on my phone.

I didn't have a smart phone until December, when I got one for Christmas, I had a flip phone and didn't think I needed anything else, but I was proved wrong.

My ringtone is from a flash. It is from a Flash which I don't have at the moment, but here is the audio.

I also plan to use this in December.

Mod Edit: Sorry, having seen the video, it's not appropriate to advertise here.

I know what that flash is. I have the youtube video of it open. Not necessarily the sort of thing I'd post here, even if the less than favorable parts go by quickly.

My ringtone for the first phone I had was a techno version of Hungarian Dance No. 5 - I sort of wish I had that for my current phone.

Given that my phone is on vibrate 99% of the time, some are surprised when they hear a looping fart noise as I receive a call...

My ringtone is now Steven Universe's ringtone.

Hm. My main ringtone is the theme to Gate of Thunder. Select folks have their own specialized ring tones, ranging from various video games and whatnot.

I now put my phone on vibrate since most of the time I don't really use it.

Thou asketh what ring tone I haveth? Cast your eyes on the magnificance of yonder link, and weep in heavanly glory, as the god of all phones descends upon ye all.

http://www.gsmarena.com/nokia_1100-512.php

So I basically have a default list of monotone beeping sounds to choose from, which vaguely sound like the actual tune if you are pretty heavily drunk. So I chose william tell out of sheer boredom and lack of choice. Although I choose Tap dance or hat dance when I want to (slightly) laugh.

I have a second phone, actually has touch screen stuff...but no sim so I can't use it as a phone. So it's reduced to my alarm. Which is simply a constant repeat of "He says he wants some good old fashioned cola!" for an entire minute...bar the repeat setting.

Terok-Nor's alert klaxon.
It's quite effective at getting one's attention.

Basic ding-a-ling. At my age, most calls are from people I don't want to talk to about subjects that I don't want to talk about at a time when I'd really rather continue what I'm doing.

Haha, my text alert is the call/scream of the first enemy you see in this video (the sound comes through fairly clearly around 0:31):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dSjWHVtGzck

For the longest time I had a bad habit of missing texts, and that sound is one that really grabs the attention. And it makes me feel like I'm being attacked, but I guess that's the price to pay.

Since I really don't text or use my cellphone for much I also have an old flip phone. My ringtone is and has been for a few years now is something called "Grey Revolution". Whatever that is.

New phone today, with a battery that actually works (!yay!)
Not going to keep it this way but as a joke for the first day or two my ringtone is the opening of Pantera's "The Great Southern Trendkill", which, for those who haven't heard it, is basically just Phil Anselm screaming. :D

That must have then been really damaging on his vocal chords if it was for a long period of time. LOL

A few years ago, my friend got ahold of my phone when I forgot to turn it off, (they did nothing actually malicious, nor did intend to, they’re a good friend of mine, and still are to this day) and set my ringtone to the ever infamous rick roll, otherwise known as Rick Astley’s “never gonna give you up”. I literally never changed it because I’m A) bad at thinking up tones for ringtones and alarms and B) I still find it infinitely hilarious that’s the first thing that they decided to do when they saw my phone was still on.
