Post by The Game »

What books are y'all waiting for to become a movie?? Here a some of mine:* mean the whole series

Actually gonna happen...
*Percy Jackson-all of them,
*Hunger Game-kinda self explanatory
*Gallagher(sp?) girls- girls spies, elite school, duh!

I wish would happen...
*Romana Quimbly!!!-the cutest most fun books I've read for a while :D
Gym Candy- pretty darn interesting
*The Goose Girl-so wonderful

50/50 chance of happening...
*Leven Thumps- i love 'em!

I would love to see The Dresden Files books in movie form, especially Dead Beat, Small Favor, and Turn Coat, because certain scenes in those books would be just plain awesome on the big screen.

Naturally, part of The Northern Lights has been made into movie form. I would like for the rest of that book, as well as The Subtle Knife and The Amber Spyglass to be incorporated as well, but I've heard nothing more on the series.
I was going to make a joke but then I did.

I'm waiting on the Pendragon series to be made into movies, and a remake of Eragon. Seriously, the first attempt sucked.

Sadly yes, it was so far from the book that it gave me a bloody nose. (from very hard facepalm.)

But I'm looking forward for more movies like Avatar in the near future, this is an opportunity they can't miss...though i'm personally rooting for more Star trek.

I have hopes that one day they might make a movie off the Artemis Fowl series, perhaps by the same director of Harry Potter (from the first two, not the later ones).

Yes. Artemis Fowl is full of awesome.
Also, I loved watching Star Trek: Voyager. I know odds of that are basically nil, but it's nice to think about.

Seeing how The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy turned out it doesn't look all too bright for this, but I'm rooting for a film adaptation of a Culture novel. Second place goes to Dragonriders of Pern, followed by the Anders trilogy.

The Goblin Wood.

... I think that's what it was called. Something along the lines of that. Seemed like a cool book.
