The awkward moment when you do your daily praise of the almighty godfather of electricity, Nikolai Testla, and your parents walk in.

(I'm kidding. I don't actually praise him. I just think he is cool, and tend to look at his studies and research a lot. He does have an extremely beautiful mustache though.... )
As I gaze upon the stars, I realize how much I will miss this world.

Is this depiction of the godfather of electricity permissible? :P

That awkward moment when you discover your fly is undone... And you haven't been to the bathroom since before work.

That awkward moment when you get a physical letter, on paper, in the mail that has hyperlinks printed on it. :P

Yes, this actually happened tonight!

In that case you can roll your eyes and say to yourself how stupid they are for putting a hyperlink in the letter. LOL

I don't know if it is actually awkward, but people always seem to be oblivious when I do weird things. I have also felt awkward thinking about an incident in my past. It should be fine to describe, but it would be another awkward moment to mention when you try to find out how to say it, even if I have already said it. Also, I doubt that dreams really count, but mine can be full of awkward moments from time to time. I am just glad I didn't change clothes in the middle of a cafeteria in real life, but I also know people wouldn't be THAT oblivious in real life. (Deleted some text.)

After I posted yesterday, I eventually sat in a chair that unceremoniously dumped me into the floor. It stayed standing up afterwards, so the chair is broken, but not able to be seen as broken if you just look at it. The event occurred with other people around.

Today at work I was tidying out a basket of junk that was under my desk and I found a black paper 2 that had been nicely cut out.

I held it up to show my coworker and said "I found a number 2 in my basket! Wait..."

Definitely gotta find a new job now. Can never go back there again. Nope. Definitely not.

Eep. A similar thing happened to me when I read my nephew a story where the character put on his cap. I inserted a “r” between the c and a.

That moment when the inside of your ear itches and you stick your finger in to try to scratch it then pull your finger out and people are watching you and look grossed out.

That moment when your dog is being brought in the house by your mother after being outside and her rear isn't exactly clean so you tell your mother but your voice is too loud and there are people passing by on the street.

A few drops of olive oil in before bed and a shower in the morning.
Your ear canal will feel cleaner than has in years. And you can do it yourself in isolation :)

Yes, it goes in your ear XD
It wouldn't do much to your earwax if you just ate it (which you probably do plenty of already). :D

#Thatawkwardmoment when you're playing a jazzy record with a repeating rhythm and it skips perfectly in time with the music so you don't realise it's skipping until you've heard the same couple of bars about 20 times.

Speaking of music or the creation of melodies when you are in a diner eating breakfast and you accidentally burp not only loudly so everybody can hear it but it matches up with the song that is playing on the radio at the time ("Back to You" by Selena Gomez).

Multiple times I had people criticize me for not having a firm enough handshake, and then they would encourage me to shake their hand again properly. And when I thought I mastered the art of shaking hands, some of my friends tried to do a relatively fancy handshake with me and it ended with an extended awkward hug.

Another time, I was playing football with my friends and then I slipped in mud and did something to my ankle. For the next week of school, I had to hop on one foot to get around. Several months later, I was playing football again and I slipped on a white parking line and did something to my other ankle. Although I am very grateful for my friends, it was still pretty awkward when they had to carry me to my parent's car while I was trying to act like the pain was minimal (it wasn't). To top it off, I sleep on a bunk bed and it was quite interesting trying to get on it. I never figured out exactly what I did to my ankles, probably a really bad sprain. They became rather swollen and one one day, my foot turned really purple.

Sheesh. All of that sounds horrible. I can't handle pain. I should be lucky that I haven't done anything to them yet.
