I'm just curious to know your birthstone.

January- Garnet
February- Amethyst
March- Aquamarine
April- Diamond
May- Emerald
June- Pearl
July- Ruby
August- Peridot
September- Sapphire
October- Opal
November- Topaz
December- Tanzanite

My birthstone is a Topaz.

I think the whole concept of birthstones is kinda silly, personally! But I'm garnets.

I'm more a fan of sapphires, myself. :3

as evidenced by diss's response, there are actually a few alternate birth stones from the ones listed before. Turquoise was the one I was aware of for December.

There were actually 3 birthstones for December: Tanzanite, Zircon, and Turquoise. I just put the first one.

Having one of the most brilliant and quite useful stones as a birthstone makes me fine with it.

It's the internet Sleet, you can be however you want to be on the internet, and make anything up without anyone really knowing it... You could already be a sapphire and just told everyone different... Hehe...

The ruby is a bit lighter than the garnet and they're made of different substances.
The only birthstone for January is the garnet but there are different varieties of it. The one I'm talking about.is the pyrope garnet.

The fact that Rubies and Garnets are almost the same is probably why many SU fans figured out that Garnet was a fusion. I'm sure that there were other reasons also/
